Bundesliga Fantasy Player Rankings: Matchday 34

Just one matchday remains in Fantasy Bundesliga as we bid farewell to a topsy turvy 20/21 season that had its highs and lows. It is the last chance for Fantasy Managers to chase glory or beat their mini-league rivals and we hope that all our followers get a big green arrow this week.

Note: All the games for matchday 34 kickoff at the same time – 3:30 PM CET.

1Robert LewandowskiFCBVs FCA26.5MIf you were almost certain that he scores a goal against Augsburg to break Gerd Müller's record then you wouldn't really star someone else unless you are chasing the pack and want to make up big ground in the final matchday.
2Erling HaalandBVBVs B0422.6MHe might've scored a paltry six points in his last game but has a goal or an assist in each of his last five games during BVB's unbeaten run.
3Thomas MüllerFCBVs FCA24.1MThis is one of the most one-sided fixtures in Bundesliga history with Bayern having a 79% win percentage against Augsburg and goals can be expected in the Bavarian derby again which makes Lewandowski+Müller a tempting double up if you can afford the two most expensive players in the game at the same time.
4André SilvaSGEVs SCF22MOffers a differential option in star in a match where he should have plenty of chances in against a team that has conceded the most shots after Schalke this season but Frankfurt have struggled ever since Adi Hütter announced he is leaving to coach Borussia and the team have won only against Augsburg since then dropping points against Schalke, Mainz, Leverkusen, and Borussia.
5Saša KalajdžićVFBVs DSC8.6MArminia can't afford to lose this game so they will defend harder than usual but I still believe Saša can get his name on the scoresheet.
6Wout WeghorstWOBVs M0521.7MWolfsburg are the only big team along with Dortmund to beat Mainz under Bo but the zerofivers were still able to limit Dortmund's goal-scoring opportunities and this game might not see too many goals because of how defensive both teams are.
7Sebastian AnderssonKOEVs S049.2MEven though he plays Schalke, I am not sure I would want a striker who has only managed to score 3 goals in 15 games this season and has no ceiling.
8Andrej KramarićTSGVs BSC19.2MThe Hoffenheim attack is less frightening when Baumgartner is absent and Kramarić plays as a #10.
9Marcus ThuramBMG@SVW16.2M
10Yussuf PoulsenRBL@FCU16.1M

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Jadon SanchoBVBVs B0422.1MTwo goals, two assists and scores of 18 and 21 for a team that is unbeaten in seven games is more than enough to justify his rank as the number one midfielder for this week.
2Filip KostićSGEVs SCF20.9MIt was hard to believe but Frankfurt scored three goals against Schalke and Kostić wasn't involved in any. The Serbian playmaker now has just one assist in his last six games. Freiburg is a potential ceiling game but with nothing to play for, Frankfurt might just take it casually again.
3Ondrej DudaKOE@S049.8MOut of form but the Schalke game is appealing and he will be a threat from set-pieces against the worst set-piece defending team in the league.
4Joshua KimmichFCBVs FCA20.5MHighest floor + ceiling among Bayern midfielders who are predicted to start.
5Christopher NkunkuRBL@FCU18M
6Vincenzo GrifoSCF@SGE15.1MGrifo is showing signs of some of his early-season form and has been the highest-scoring player over the last two matchdays with scores of 21 and 23 but getting him against Frankfurt might just be point chasing.
7Jamal MusialaFCBVs FCA2.6MMusiala offers budget entry into the Bayern Munich midfield at just 2.6M and has three goals and an assist in his last four starts.
8Lars StindlBMG@SVW16.3M
9Maximillian ArnoldWOBVs M0517.2M
10Ritsu DoanDSC@VFB10.8MArminia beat Stuttgart 3-0 in the reverse fixture and winning this game will ensure their survival in the Bundesliga. Expect Doan to have shots and key-passes against Stuttgart's B team players in defense.

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1David AlabaFCBVs FCA12.8MThis might be the worst Bayern defense we have seen in a while but it is still tough to imagine them conceding a goal against a team they concede the fewest goals on average among all current BL sides (0.68). FCB is expected to dominate this fixture again and with goals to be expected, there is a possibility for an Alaba involvement or some bonus for spamming at the least.
2Paulo OtávioWOBVs M059.5MDualmeister Otávio is a differential star option for this week if you expect Wolfsburg to keep a clean sheet against Mainz for the sixth Bundesliga game in a row.
3Raphaël GuerreiroBVBVs B0418.4M
4Borna SosaVFBVs DSC5.9MHe hasn't looked like his old self lately but could still put in a big performance against Arminia.
5Benjamin HenrichsRBL@FCU10.6MThe best thing about Henrichs is that the coach doesn't hate him.
6Ludwig AugustinssonSVWVs BMG9.5M
7Jannes HornKOEVs S041.3M
8Pavel KadeřábekTSGVs BSC10MIf FC Köln were able to keep a clean sheet against Hertha's injury plagued-attack then there is a chance for Hoffenheim as well. Even though the return of Lukebakio and Darida should help the Berliners.
9Oscar WendtBMG@SVW4.9M
10Timothy ChandlerSGEVs SCF5.2MChandler has an eye for goals but the Frankfurt defense is avoidable after their horrendous display against Schalke.

Goalkeepers

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Gregor KobelVFBVs DSC5.8MSave points + clean sheet potential.
2Stefan OrtegaDSC@VFB7.5MThis game is do or die for Arminia and it won't be easy for them because of how attacking Stuttgart are and it might come down to Ortega saving the day again.
3Mark FlekkenSCF@SGE4M
4Phillip PentkeTSGVs BSC1.1M
5Josep MartinezRBL@FCU1MSince Gulácsi is injured, you can try your luck with a keeper from the best defense in the league for just 1M.

Bundesliga Fantasy Player Rankings for Matchday 33

Just two matchdays remain in Bundesliga Fantasy and with only two individual fixtures in matchday 33 – Mainz Vs Dortmund and Leipzig Vs Wolfsburg, players from the home teams Leipzig and Dortmund stand out as premier options for the week.

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Robert LewandowskiFCB@SCF26.2MConsidering how motivated he is now, I am sure he gets those 2 goals in the last two games to break the record. He is also yellow card away from suspension but does it really matter?
2André SilvaSGE@S0421.6MHe could possibly be a better star option than the guy above but is doubtful for the game.
3Thomas MüllerFCB@SCF24.1M
4Erling HaalandBVB@M0522.5MThe best forward from the only two individual fixtures this week on Sunday but be wary of how good Mainz have been under Bo Svensson.
5Andrej KramarićTSG@DSC18.9MOnly Ortega stands in the way of Arminia conceding multiple goals every game and they will still give up plenty of chances for Hoffenheim to score. However, Kramarić loses most of his appeal if he plays wide in the absence of Baumgartner and with Skov possibly taking over the set-pieces again.
6Marcus ThuramBMGVs VFB16.1MStuttgart would've conceded a lot more goals against Augsburg last week with the current backline if it wasn't for Bredlow saving 8 of the 21 shots they conceded.
7Wout WeghorstWOB@RBL21.6MIf historical results are anything to go by, Wolfsburg find it difficult to score goals away against Leipzig (only one goal scored at the Red Bull arena in their last four away games).
8Saša KalajdžićVFB@BMG8.2M
9Patrick SchickB04Vs FCU16.1MUnion have turned into a punching bag for home teams averaging almost three goals conceded in their last four away games but most of the Leverkusen attackers are out of form except the injured Bailey so not expecting too many goals in this game.
10Sebastian AnderssonKOE@BSC9.3M

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Filip KostićSGE@S0420.7MIf he doesn't get 15+ points in this game then I will be disappointed. No doubt for me that he is the best midfielder for this matchday even with the rare blank last week.
2Christopher NkunkuRBLVs WOB17.9MSancho or Nkunku is a must for star flexibility this week.
3Jadon SanchoBVB@M0521.7MDortmund are the most in-form team in the league right now winning each of their last six games and Sancho is their most in-form player with a brace in each of his last two games. Even though a win isn't guaranteed there should be goals in this fixture.
4Daichi KamadaSGE@S0415.1MA midfield double up with Kamada could be worth it if you expect Frankfurt to thrash Schalke like every other team does. Younes is also a differential option to consider at just 7.5M.
5Lars StindlBMGVs VFB16.1MOnly Borussia can beat a team 5-0 then lose 6-0 the next match but I think they should bounce back with Stindl returning against a weakened Stuttgart backline.
6Dani OlmoRBLVs WOB19.5M
7Leroy SanéFCB@SCF19.9MA chance for Sané to turn his form around in a game that Bayern should dominate.
8Ritsu DoanDSCVs TSG10.7MIf the worst attack in the league is capable of scoring two away goals against Hoffenheim then that makes Arminia capable of scoring against them as well.
9Ondrej DudaKOE@BSC9.9MWhether he is still the first choice for penalties is yet to be seen but Koln is the only team with the privilege to face Schalke on the final matchday.
10Marco RichterFCAVs SVW10.3MRichter's floor is so high he had 9 points just for attempts last week and finished on 13 without any goal involvement.

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1David AlabaFCB@SCF13MA bit of a surprise pick for #1 but Alaba is an amazing fantasy asset when he plays as a midfielder. He has full freedom to bomb forward in attack from midfield and has double-digit hauls in his last three games as a midfield general at an average of 16 points a game. With Goretzka ruled out for the season, OOP Alaba could be a big-hitter in the final two matchdays of the season.
2Raphaël GuerreiroBVB@M0518M
3Erik DurmSGE@S043.5MIt has been a while since Durm had a decent score but could cash in against Schalke.
4AngeliñoRBLVs WOB16.8MOne of the best defenders in fantasy this season but after his tussle with Nagelsmann he is never guaranteed to start a game or finish it.
5Borna SosaVFB@BMG5.9M
6Ludwig AugustinssonSVW@FCA9.4M
7Paulo OtávioWOB@RBL9.6MRegardless of whether he keeps a clean sheet or not, Otávio is still good for a minimum of five points with the number of duels he wins.
8Ramy BensebainiBMGVs VFB12.7M
9Pavel KadeřábekTSG@DSC10.1M
10Jannes HornKOE@BSC1.3MI wouldn't bet on Köln keeping a clean sheet but Horn could be a good enabler against Hertha as they don't have a single first choice attacker fit with Cunha, Darida, Cordoba, Lukebakio and Piątek all injured and the team will rely on their youngsters to score goals in this game.

Goalkeepers

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Stefan OrtegaDSCVs TSG7.6MArminia's survival in the Bundesliga rests almost entirely on their defense and captain Stefan Ortega. Expecting him to put in a big shift again.
2Gregor KobelVFB@BMG5.8MKobel is a doubt so keep an eye out for Fabian Bredlow (1.3M) who had 13 points in his last game if he starts.
3Robin ZentnerM05Vs BVB4.8MThe only keeper with an individual fixture below 10M.
4Mark FlekkenSCFVs FCB3.9MBayern are going to bombard Flekken for sure so he is a differential keeper for those who dare.
5Phillip PentkeTSG@DSC1MYou can only expect so much from a keeper that costs nothing.

Bundesliga Fantasy Player Rankings for Matchday 32

Bundesliga Fantasy is back after a two-week break and things are about to speed up from here as we countdown to the final three matchdays of the season. The two teams that dominate our player rankings for matchday 32 are Bayern Munich and Hoffenheim. The Bavarians host Borussia in a throwback “Klassiker” of the 70s while TSG locks horns against fallen giants Schalke that are already relegated at home.

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Robert LewandowskiFCBVs BMG25.8MBorussia are the big four team's kryptonite when they play at home but when you exclude their last away win against Schalke, they've conceded two goals against Hertha and three against Hoffenheim, Augsburg, and Leipzig in their last five games away from home.
2Andrej KramarićTSGVs S0418.5MThe Schalke team is low on morale because of the violence that ensued after their relegation was confirmed and with many senior players rumoured to never play for Schalke again, Kramarić could capitalize on a possible Schalke XI with youngsters in a revenge game after their embarrassing 4-0 defeat to the Royal Blues earlier this season.
3André SilvaSGEVs M0521.4MIn the last four games where Silva has started up top with Jović, he has scored five goals and assisted three.
4Wout WeghorstWOBVs FCU21.5M
5Erling HaalandBVBVs RBL22.3MHaaland has a brace in each of the two games he has played against Leipzig but is still a doubt for the match due to injury concerns.
6Thomas MüllerFCBVs BMG23.7MMüller hasn't gone more than two matches this season without a double-digit return so it is safe to say that he is due a big game.
7Saša KalajdžićVFBVs FCA7.8MBest paired with Sosa who has assisted five of his last nine goals but he is an easy fade otherwise if Sosa doesn't start even with the early fixture.
8Leon BaileyB04@SVW15.4MBremen currently have the worst form in the league with a loss in each of their last seven games and Leverkusen should cruise through with three points to fuel their European ambitions.
9Matheus CunhaBSCVs DSC16MOverburdened by a hectic schedule right when he was starting to pick up some form. He might play limited minutes again this week but should still be a threat and have plenty of shots to himself.
10Luka JovićSGEVs M0516M

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Filip KostićSGEVs M0520.8MYou know there are no worries about star flexibility in a week when Kostić plays on a Sunday.
2Jadon SanchoBVBVs RBL21.3MLeipzig might seem like an intimidating fixture but it is quite the opposite as Dortmund is their boogie team. The Bulls haven't won against BVB in their last six Bundesliga games and Sancho boasts an impressive record of two goals and three assists in five games against them.
3Christoph BaumgartnerTSGVs S0413.3MThrives in games where he gets to shoot at free will.
4Joshua KimmichFCBVs BMG20.2MIf the only choices from Bayern's midfield are Kimmich and Goretzka, then the former is preferred with his floor and set-pieces duties even though he is a suspension risk.
5Ondrej DudaKOEVs SCF9.8MIf a worn-out Hertha team could do that much damage to Freiburg then a revitalized FC Köln is capable of more of the same. Duda has been the most key player for Koln in attack with five goals and an assist in his last six games and he could prove to be a worthy differential with games against Freiburg, Hertha and Schalke to end the season.
6Yannick GerhardtWOBVs FCU8.3MThis guy has more shots in his last two games as an attacking midfielder than Wolfsburg's striker with 20 goals.
7Dani OlmoRBL@BVB19.1MLeipzig only score fewer goals on average against Bayern (1.0) than Dortmund (1.1) but there is potential for plenty of bonus points for Olmo especially with Nkunku out. He scored 12 points in the reverse fixture without being involved in any goals.
8Ritsu DoanDSC@BSC10.8MSpare a thought for the Hertha players. Many of them just recovered from Covid and are now playing their third game in six days. The Berliner's next game is a massive relegation six-pointer and with the pace at which other teams are catching up to Arminia, it will be a must-win game for them.
9Daniel CaligiuriFCA@VFB12.5MA bit of an overlooked pick, Caligiuri has scores of 11 and 10 in his last two games without any goals or assists. A small possibility that might change as the player going up against Stuttgart's third choice RWB has scored in each of the last two games.
10Daichi KamadaSGEVs M0515.2MGames against Mainz, Schalke, and Freiburg is just a perfect finale to end the season if you want to triple up on Frankfurt players.

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Borna SosaVFBVs FCA6MTo remind you again about how good Sosa is in Fantasy Bundesliga, he has double-digit returns in 8 of his last 11 games. If you still aren't convinced, he was averaging 12 points per game during that period.
2Pavel KadeřábekTSGVs S0410MHe has scores of 20 and 21 hidden amongst sub-par scores of 1s and 2s but this is a ceiling game for him given how bad Schalke are on both ends of the pitch.
3Raphaël GuerreiroBVBVs RBL17.6MHis big outings are hard to predict but I still prefer him over Angeliño considering the recent record of both teams against each other.
4Paulo OtávioWOBVs FCU9.3MNot expecting any Pohjanpalo heroics this time.
5Alphonso DaviesFCBVs BMG15.6MIf Bayern are able to put the recent losses against PSG and Mainz behind them then this might quickly turn sour for Borussia on the champion's expected coronation day.
6AngeliñoRBL@BVB17MSome of his start of the season form was on display in his 17 pointer in the last game against Stuttgart but Leipzig haven't kept a clean sheet against Dortmund in their last eight games while suffering the most defeats in the Bundesliga against BVB than any other team.
7Erik DurmSGEVs M053.5M
8Maximilian MittelstädtBSCVs DSC8.5MMittelstädt has been fully rested for this game and given how badly Arminia have struggled to score this season, there is a good chance he keeps a clean sheet to go along with some bonus points.
9Daley SinkgravenB04@SVW5.2M
10Phillip MweneM05@SGE2.9MI can't bring myself to accept that Mainz are good enough to secure a result away against Frankfurt and that the Eagles are in a slump similar to Borussia when Rose announced his early departure. But this doesn't change the fact that Mainz are good. Unbeaten in eight games and winning against Bayern good.

P.S: Mwene seems to be on set-pieces for Mainz now.

Goalkeepers

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Stefan OrtegaDSC@BSC7.4MThis game is more likely to be a snooze-fest than a goal-scoring one so Ortega is still the keeper to have.
2Florian MüllerSCF@KOE5.1MThe 3-0 thrashing by Hertha does raise some questions but at the least Müller is capable of plenty of points for saves.
3Gregor KobelVFBVs FCA5.9M
4Oliver BaumannTSGVs S049.8MIf you can justify the price tag for a one week punt against Schalke.
5Marwin HitzBVBVs RBL1.9M

Bundesliga Fantasy Player Rankings for Matchday 31

Bundesliga Fantasy returns after a short two-day break as matchday 31 offers a quick turnaround and the biggest highlights of this week’s player rankings are that Lewandowski returns for Bayern Munich while Schalke get a rest because of their postponed game against Hertha.

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Robert LewandowskiFCB@M0525.7MA reminder that Lewandowski needs just five goals in the last four matchdays to break Gerd Müller's record. There is no bigger motivation than that and it is hard to pass on the best player in the league when he starts.
2André SilvaSGE@B0421.2M
3Thomas MüllerFCB@M0523.6MLewandowski's return should boost his production in fantasy even more.
4Erling HaalandBVB@WOB21.9MSancho returning to the starting XI is similar to the situation above.
5Wout WeghorstWOBVs BVB21.6MA towering striker in the form of his life should score against a team that goes into a frenzy while defending headers, right? The only worry here is that Wolfsburg haven't scored against BVB in each of their last eight Bundesliga games against them since 2016.
6Andrej KramarićTSG@SCF18.1MI won't hedge my bets on Hoffenheim because of how unpredictable they are but they only play teams in the bottom seven for defense until the end of the season. That is Freiburg, Schalke, Arminia, and Hertha which makes Kramarić a differential option as he tends to pick up form towards the end of the season.
7Alexander SørlothRBLVs VFB15.1MA good matchup but Leipzig have failed to score in their last two home games.
8Max KruseFCUVs SVW12.2M
9Marcus ThuramBMGVs DSC15.8M
10Leon BaileyB04Vs SGE15M

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Christopher NkunkuRBLVs VFB18MStuttgart are down to their third choice wingbacks and if Wolfsburg's wide players such as Gerhardt (16) and Brekalo (14) hauling last week is something to go by then Nkunku and Olmo should have a good game.
2Filip KostićSGE@B0420.9M
3Jadon SanchoBVB@WOB21.3MSancho was able to rack up nine points in just 30 minutes after coming off the bench against Union. A display of his potential as an asset in Fantasy Bundesliga.
4Dani OlmoRBLVs VFB18.7M
5Leroy SanéFCB@M0519.9MMusiala deserves better than to be replaced by an out-of-form Sané.
6Jonas HectorKOE@FCA10.5MHector has three goals and two assists in six games after returning form injury, is a threat from headers and has full freedom to bomb forward in attack from deep in midfield under new head coach Funkel. His closest equivalent is Tomáš Souček from West Ham.
7Rolland SallaiSCFVs TSG9.3M
8Jonas HofmannBMGVs DSC14MHow well Hofmann does is anybody's guess at this point. Borussia will manage to beat top six teams such as Bayern, Dortmund and Frankfurt but lose to teams like Hoffenheim, Augsburg, Koln and Mainz.
9Maximillian ArnoldWOBVs BVB16.4M
10Ritsu DoanDSC@BMG10.7MDoan had a monster game against Schalke last week scoring 16 points without being involved in the only goal of the match but he can still be a boring, high floor pick with tougher individual fixtures this week against BMG and next week against Hertha.

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1AngeliñoRBLVs VFB16.6MHopefully Nagelsmann doesn't resent him now and he plays the full 90 minutes.
2Raphaël GuerreiroBVB@WOB17.5M
3Alphonso DaviesFCB@M0515.4MAlaba might've been the best Bayern defender last week with his 22 pointer but it is too late to hop on that train as Goretzka's return will move him back to center back.
4Ramy BensebainiBMGVs DSC12.6MThe Arminia attack shouldn't create too much fear for Borussia as they aren't capable of comebacks.
5Christopher TrimmelFCUVs SVW11.6M
6Erik DurmSGE@B043.4MThe Frankfurt defence now looks much better because they don't have to force Ilsanker to fill in at center back.
7Ludwig AugustinssonSVW@FCU9.3MHe is averaging seven points per game in his last six games despite not winning in any of them.
8Christian GünterSCFVs TSG12.4M
9Paulo OtávioWOBVs BVB9M
10Jannes HornKOE@FCA1.4MA small chance that FC Köln sneak a clean sheet in the early fixture against an Augsburg team that couldn't even score against Schalke.

Goalkeepers

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Florian MüllerSCFVs TSG5.2MHoffenheim have scored just once in their last three away games and Müller has potential for a clean sheet as well as saves against a team that shoots a lot but doesn't score as often.
2Stefan OrtegaDSC@BMG7.5M
3Gregor KobelVFB@RBL5.6MA ceiling pick for this week and he was the highest-scoring keeper in the matchday of the reverse fixtures with 17 points out of which 12 were just for saves.

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1André SilvaSGEVs FCA20.9MThe previous game against Borussia was the first match that Frankfurt failed to score in since October. Expecting a big game from Silva as he should have plenty of chances against Augsburg.
2Thomas MüllerFCBVs B0423.6MMüller is as indispensable as Lewandowski for Bayern and is averaging 12 points in the four games without him this season.
3Erling HaalandBVBVs FCU21.6MHe seems like the obvious choice if you want a player from Wednesday and now that he has broken the deadlock, the goals should flow more freely.
4Wout WeghorstWOB@VFB21.4MClearly his purple patch hasn't ended yet. Weghorst has a goal or assist in each of his last six games. A total of five goals and four assists in that span.
5Alexander SørlothRBL@KOE15MThe Leipzig playmakers failed to create good chances for Sørloth against Hoffenheim but that shouldn't be the case against the worst home team in the league this season who have conceded three goals in each of their last two games. An option for those who want an early forward.
6Marcus ThuramBMG@TSG15.8MBorussia have turned around their bad form completely and have won three of their last four games while scoring three goals on average.
7Max KruseFCU@BVB12.2M
8Saša KalajdžićVFBVs WOB8MThe absence of Sosa will have a massive effect on Saša's production as five of his last nine Bundesliga goals have been assisted by him.
9Leon BaileyB04@FCB15MBailey boasts more goals against Bayern (4) than any other team but it is also the team he has played most times against (10). He has potential to improve his score against a weak Bayern defense.
10Matheus CunhaBSC-16MIn a week with low star flexibility, Cunha's nine points could come in handy.

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Filip KostićSGEVs FCA20.5MIn this same fixture last season, Frankfurt scored five goals and Kostić was involved in four of them with two goals and two assists finishing on 33 points (50 with star).
2Christopher NkunkuRBL@KOE17.8MNkunku was able to score eight points even in a goalless game but Leipzig should score a few and win comfortably here.
3Jonas HofmannBMG@TSG14.1MBorussia are in form but Hoffenheim have been able to shut both Leipzig and Leverkusen in their last two games. However, TSG concede more goals at home against BMG than any other team and with Hofmann at the crux of their attack, the foals will be desperate for a win in their final push for Europe.
4Dani OlmoRBL@KOE18.7MOnly Schalke have conceded more goals at home than Köln this season.
5Ritsu DoanDSCVs S0410.3MThis could be another low-scoring game for Arminia with the team scoring more than one goal in a game just once in their last nine matches. Doan has floor but it is impossible to predict if Doan will hit ceiling with how defensive both these teams have been playing.
6Maximillian ArnoldWOB@VFB16.4MArnold offers the best floor among all players that play on the final day and is always a threat from his long range shots and set-pieces.
7Jamal MusialaFCBVs B042.3MWonderkid Musiala has three goals in his last two starts and has outscored every Bayern midfielder in that same period with scores of 16 and 21. A real gem at just 2.3M but the only concern is that he isn't the most nailed on player in the XI.
8Giovanni ReynaBVBVs FCU9.7MAnother up and coming wonderkid, Reyna has a goal and two assists in his last two games and offers an alternate option for star as he plays on Wednesday.
9Amin YounesSGEVs FCA7.5MIf you expect Frankfurt to score plenty of goals.
10Amine HaritS04@DSC12.1M

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Ramy BensebainiBMG@TSG12.6MTo summarize Hoffenheim's struggles in attack, they had two shots against Leverkusen and five against Leipzig but none of them were on target.
2Nordi MukieleRBL@KOE11.2MLooks like Angeliño's feud with the coach isn't over yet so that makes Mukiele the second best option from the Leipzig defense.
3Raphaël GuerreiroBVBVs FCU17.1M
4Erik DurmSGEVs FCA3.4MHe might've conceded four goals in the last game but a clean sheet looks likely this week.
5Alphonso DaviesFCBVs B0415.1MThis game is more of a litmus test for the Leverkusen attack under the new coach than the Bayern defense.
6Maxence LacroixWOB@VFB6.2M
7Phillip MweneM05@SVW2.4MIf you have him, you can keep him. If you don't then you can avoid him as he plays Bayern, Frankfurt, Dortmund and Wolfsburg after this to end the season.
8Christopher TrimmelFCU@BVB11.7MHe scored 16 points last week but both of his assists came when he went up against one of the league's worst defenders and he won't be as lucky this time.
9Ludwig AugustinssonSVWVs M059M

2Florian MüllerSCF-5.2MMost would take six points on any day but the best part is that you can change Ortega to Müller if he happens to score below six.
3Tobias SippelBMG@TSG1.4MThe victory against Frankfurt was the first time that Borussia won with Sippel between the stick in six games.
4Ralf FährmannS04@DSC6.4MIt might sound absurd but Schalke got a chance at a clean sheet here.

Bundesliga Fantasy: Player Rankings for Matchday 29

Freiburg and Schalke might’ve switched roles last week with the former losing against Arminia Bielefeld and the latter winning against Augsburg but the bottom-placed club is still the team to target when these two sides face each other in our Bundesliga Fantasy player rankings for the final Englische Woche of the season.

1André SilvaSGE@BMG21MDespite having a tough schedule over the last few games playing four of the top six teams, Silva was able to score or assist in each game and Frankfurt have been absolutely ruthless in their last two home games scoring five goals against Union and four against Wolfsburg, the fourth best and second best defenses in the league respectively. In the absence of fans due to covid, this game shouldn't feel like an away one.
2Erling HaalandBVBVs SVW21.2MHe hasn't scored in his past seven games so to say that he is due a goal is an understatement.
3Thomas Müller
FCB@WOB23.2MWolfsburg haven't won against Bayern in 11 games and it is easier to picture the Bavarians dominating again with Max Arnold missing out for the Wolves.
4Max KruseFCUVs VFB12.1M
5Alexander SørlothRBLVs TSG15M
6Ermedin DemirovićSCFVs S047.8MSchalke is the team to target even after their surprising but unconvincing victory against Augsburg who only had one win in the last 10 games against their boogie team. However, Demirović is prone to rotation and might play limited minutes due to the midweek game.
7Marcus ThuramBMGVs SGE15.6M
8Saša KalajdžićVFB@FCU7.8MHis purple patch has probably ended and with consecutive games against Union, Wolfsburg and Leipzig, I won't bet on him to score even though he is certainly capable of it.
9Wout WeghorstWOBVs FCB21.1MWeghorst has only scored once against FCB in his five games against them and might be deprived of service with Arnold out and Gerhardt filling in as a defensive midfielder.
10Matheus CunhaBSC@M0516MThat's a decent nine points (14 with star) *if* the game is postponed. Hoping that the affected players get well soon.

Midfielders

1Christopher NkunkuRBLVs TSG17.6MThis game either ends 1-0 or 4-0. It is hard to predict.
2Filip KostićSGE@BMG20MThe last three games between these teams have all been a high-scoring affair with a minimum of four goals in each game and considering the contrasting form of both teams, we could see something similar along the lines again.
3Dani OlmoRBLVs TSG18.7MTwo early games against Hoffenheim and Koln next make Nkunku+Olmo worth doubling up.
4Rolland SallaiSCFVs S048.9MBoom or bust differential for this week only as the game next week against Hertha might be postponed.
5Leroy SanéFCB@WOB19.6M
6Giovanni ReynaBVBVs SVW9.3MGives you half the thrills of owning Sancho on a budget with an individual fixture this week.
7Ritsu DoanDSC@FCA10.2MAugsburg this week + Schalke next week
8Jonas HofmannBMGVs SGE13.7MBorussia have made it a habit to turn up against big teams and give up points against the smaller one and its the same case with Hofmann.
9Amine HaritS04@SCF12.2MSchalke only play "bad" teams except Frankfurt until the end of the season but the only caveat is that Schalke is the bad team here.
10André HahnFCAVs DSC5.5M

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Raphaël GuerreiroBVBVs SVW17.2MBremen currently have the worst form in the league with four losses in a row and even if you don't have Haaland or Reyna then Guerreiro offers some cover with his involvement in attack.
2Borna SosaVFB@FCU6.3MThe fixtures will keep getting tougher for Stuttgart but Sosa is still untouchable.
3Nordi MukieleRBLVs TSG11.2MHoffenheim had just two (!) shots in the entire game against Bayer Leverkusen last week. Replace Mukiele with Angeliño if he starts.
4Christian GünterSCFVs S0411.9MPotential ceiling game for Günter if Freiburg don't flop like they did against Arminia.
5Lucas HernandezFCB@WOB12.4M
6Christopher TrimmelFCUVs VFB11.3M
7Erik DurmSGE@BMG3.4MOther than his fluky goal last week (first BL goal in five years), Durm isn't a bad option to have especially with key players returning in defense for Frankfurt.
8Kevin MbabuWOBVs FCB12MLewandowski has scored in each game against Wolfsburg since 2015 but even though he won't be there to torment them the Wolves have struggled defensively after their seven consecutive clean sheets run ended where they mostly played struggling teams.
9Jeremie FrimpongB04Vs KOE8.6MHoffenheim's failure to register even one shot on target last week can be attributed to their incompetency or Leverkusen's strong defensive display but whatever the case, Köln isn't the worst game to keep a clean sheet.
10Ramy BensebainiBMGVs SGE12.2MIn the highly unlikely event that Borussia keep a clean sheet against Frankfurt.

Goalkeepers

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Florian MüllerSCFVs S045MIt is hard to decide between Müller and Ortega again with the former having a better chance at a clean sheet but less likely to make more saves.
2Stefan OrtegaDSC@FCA7.2MA strong argument can be made for either keeper to start over the other with Ortega having more potential for points for saves.

Fact: Ortega had zero points in the reverse fixture and Müller had nine.
3Marwin HitzBVBVs SVW1.5MHitz is an enabler with an individual fixture this week.
4Gregor KobelVFB@FCU6M
5Ralf FährmannS04@SCF6.5M
