MLS Fantasy: Double Gameweek 27 Preview

Tipster Gilbert previews the upcoming double gameweek 27 in MLS Fantasy and shares his thoughts on why Montreal and SKC are being overlooked this week.

I want to apologize. Why am I writing this now? Hopefully, I want to be consistent with my articles. And in this article, I want to discuss an interesting review about MLS Fantasy for this gameweek plus the upcoming double gameweek. The current top picks for this DGW are Puig, Gil, and Arango.

LAFC Enters Playoffs

Will you come back to this game later? Not necessarily. They proved themselves against Dallas FC and came close to winning with 10 men but were unlucky to win the game. From this team, we can monitor several players, such as Cristian Arango ($12.1M). With 16 goals and four assists, he can fill in for Vela’s absence, no problem. Although still assisted by one of the greatest prophets in Mexico, Carlos Vela ($9.2M), their attacks had little effect. And today, LAFC remains one of the most prolific attacks for this gameweek with the most goals scored in the league after Philadelphia Union and Austin FC.

What are the Chances of SKC and Montreal keeping Cleansheets?

Considering there will be many double gameweek matches, Montreal and SKC are pretty unique. No one would’ve guessed that Romell Quioto ($10.9M) would be such a prolific player. Besides that, the return of Victor Wanyama ($7.8M) is very influential with the rhythm of his game which is quite unique. Similar to SKC, William Agada ($9.3M) will face two teams which tend to concede a lot and with Salloi’s return, will this be the match his owners in MLS Fantasy waited for?

Yes, this is the review I share for this double gameweek. Of course, you might wonder if this match has an impact at this point, or not. Depending on the match later.

MLS Fantasy: Gameweek 24 Preview

Getting into the playoffs is a challenge for Atlanta United but not impossible, and with the return of Lennon as well as Almada, tipster Gilbert believes that they can put up a strong fight in their final push for a playoff spot starting with DC United in his MLS Fantasy gameweek 24 preview.

In this article, we will give you a minimal preview of the best players that will help you get points. Our MLS Fantasy player picks for gameweek 24 are as follows:

Brooks Lennon (ATL)

Lennon is back. He played his first 90 minutes since Gameweek 14 against Columbus, assisting one goal and finishing on eight points in MLS Fantasy. This week he is up against a DC United side who have lost five straight games and conceded six times against Philadelphia last week.

Emanuel Reynoso (MNU)

In his last eight appearances, Reynoso has only scored less than seven points once. During that time, he has scored seven goals and assisted another five.

William Agada (SKC)

Despite only playing above 70+ minutes in four games, Agada has scored five goals and provided one assist. He faces an Earthquakes side that has conceded seven times in their last two away games.

Thiago Almada (ATL)

Another ATL player back, Almada should have no problem carving out DC United this weekend. We know he is full of talent and set-pieces only add to his potential for points. I’m surprised he is only owned by 5% of MLS Fantasy managers.

After a high scoring third matchday (at least in a fantasy sense), the Fantasy MLS saga continues after the elimination of 3/4 remaining MLS teams from CCL, and ahead of a double game week just 3 days after this one ends, prepare yourselves for an amazing week of Major League Soccer.

We’ve seen some absolutely amazing performances and hauls from cheap players like Smith, Rubio, and Cowell, all three of which are viable in this round too. But who will surprise us all this time and who will flop?

There’s much more to be seen in MD4 and FantasyTipsters brings you the best picks for the week.
