1Harry KaneFCBvs SVD17.1MA player who has only blanked once this season against the joint-worst defence in the league which has conceded 17 goals in just the last six games. This is the easiest star decision you will make this season.
2Leroy SanéFCBvs SVD16.6MThere is a good argument for Sane as a differential star considering his form but it is interesting to see that Sane only has one game with more than one return and that was on MD1. I still prefer Kane in games where I expect Bayern to score 3+ goals.
3Victor BonifaceB04vs SCF14.4M
4Jonas WindWOB@FCA11.9MDifferential pick for the week.
5Kingsley ComanFCBvs SVD14.1MNot a bad week for hoarding Bayern players.
6Lois OpendaRBLvs KOE15.2MOpenda is boring. He is really consistent and will score almost every game but his ceiling is so low most of the time I wonder if it is worth getting him.
7Deniz UndavVFBvs TSG8.7MDeserves more respect for averaging a return every 33 minutes this season. His hauls might not be as big as Guirassy but I think he will be a great consistent asset going ahead. Still only considering him for next week and not this one.
8Alassane PléaBMGvs FCH10.1MTwo teams that only seem to do well at home so I'd rather have Plea than Kleindienst this week as he is also on sale.
9Marvin DuckschSVWvs FCU11.3MUnion Berlin have lost six(!!) Bundesliga games in a row so why not?
10Niclas FüllkrugBVB@SGE14.4M

1Jamal MusialaFCBvs SVD15.3MHe did play the full 90 in the UCL but I think he should still be able to play 70 minutes at least against Darmstadt. That being said, it is still really close between him and Hofmann for me.
2Jonas HofmannB04vs SCF17MFully rested and against a worn out Freiburg defence.
3Florian WirtzB04vs SCF15.7M
4Kevin StögerBOCvs M059.4M
5Xavi SimonsRBLvs KOE15.4M
6Jan-Niklas BesteFCH@BMG8.5M
7Chris FührichVFBvs TSG9.6MOn sale this week.

1Alphonso DaviesFCBvs SVD15.9MBeen underwhelming to say the least but I think it is still worth holding him this week in a possible ceiling game.
2Jeremie FrimpongB04vs SCF16.1M
3Noussair MazraouiFCBvs SVD11.8MProbably only a one week punt if you are getting him since Bayern play Dortmund next week and there is a lot of uncertainty about his spot in the team.
4Alejandro GrimaldoB04vs SCF12M
5Benjamin HenrichsRBLvs KOE12M
6Robin GosensFCU@SVW11.7MJust a funny feeling that he scores this week.
7Anthony CaciM05@BOC6.5M
8Joakim MæhleRBL@FCA8.1M
9Julian RyersonBVB@SGE9MOn sale but doubtful for this week.
10Anthony RouaultVFBvs TSG7.3M

Goalkeepers

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Manuel RiemannBOCvs M057.9M
2Marcel SchuhenSVD@FCB5.3MProbably worth punting on as a second keeper as he will have a ton of shots to say. Just hoping that he doesn't end on -5 like Müller last week.
3Kevin MüllerFCH@BMG5.3M

1Victor BonifaceB04vs KOE13.7MLast week was just his first blank in six matchdays so i think his purple patch is far from over.
2Harry KaneFCBvs SCF16.6M
3Lois OpendaRBLvs BOC14.7MItching to rank him #1 because this feels like a heavily one-sided goal fest waiting to happen but holding back a bit because Openda's ceiling has generally been low.
4Ermedin DemirovićFCAvs SVD10.4M
5Benjamin ŠeškoRBLvs BOC13.1MI like his ceiling more than Openda but I am not sure I want to take a gamble on him when Poulsen could start again.
6Leroy SanéFCBvs SCF15.9M
7Serhou GuirassyVFBvs WOB14.1MI love Guirassy but these are the joint-best defences over the last three games going up against each other so I am not sure whether I should expect a lot of goals.
8Alassane PléaBMGvs M0511.3MPléa was by far the best forward last week and Mainz are bottom of the barrel despite teams like Bochum and Darmstadt being in the league so it only makes sense to rank him higher? As bad as Mainz might be, I am highly doubtful that Plea will repeat his heroics against them as they have conceded the least shots so far (57) only behind Bayern (46). For comparison, Bochum are third with 106 shots conceded so far so it will be a lot harder to find good chances in this game.
9Jonas WindWOB@VFB11.7M
9Niclas FüllkrugBVBvs FCU14.3M

1Xavi SimonsRBLvs BOC15.2MDid play the full 90 against City but I still like his ceiling more than Hofmann.
2Jonas HofmannB04vs KOE16.7M
3Florian WirtzB04vs KOE15.3M
4Jamal MusialaFCBvs SCF15MSlight minutes worry again so he doesn't feel like a must-have.
5Marco ReusBVBvs FCU13.5MAssume Dortmund are playing a team like Bochum this week because six losses in a row across all competitions while conceding 12 goals and scoring just three sounds more like them than Union Berlin.
6Chris FührichVFBvs WOB10.5M
7Franck HonoratBMGvs M0511.6M
8Ruben VargasFCAvs BOC7.5MOne of the worst finishers in the league but if he has to score then it has to be in a game like this where he gets plenty of chances.
9Julian BrandtBVBvs FCU16.6M
10Jan-Niklas BesteFCH@SGE8.2MI still prefer home game Beste than the away one.
BonusMarvin MehlemSVD@FCA5.6M

1Jeremie FrimpongB04vs KOE15.3M
2David RaumRBLvs BOC12.1MThere is a slight chance that Lenz starts over him according to Ligainsider.
3Alejandro GrimaldoB04vs KOE11.2M
4Alphonso DaviesFCBvs SCF15.7M
5Luca NetzBMGvs M056.7MMainz haven't scored more than one goal in any game so far so I think Netz has a fair chance at a cleansheet here. Even had five shots in the last game.
6Julian RyersonBVBvs FCU9.4MLow ceiling but Union Berlin are one of two teams that haven't scored in their last two Bundesliga games. The other team being Eintracht Frankfurt.
7Mitchell WeiserSVWvs TSG10.9MEveryone is expecting Hoffenheim to win but with Kramarić being out around whom basically the entire attack of Hoffenheim revolves, I think Werder Bremen could take some points and maybe even win here.

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Victor BonifaceB04vs FCH13.3MIf he keeps shooting at the same rate, he might outscore the other plays mentioned on this list with just bonus points.
2Serhou GuirassyVFBvs SVD12.1MThe top goal-scorer in the league for the team that has scored the most goals plays against the team that has conceded the most goals at home. This can only end one way.
3Harry KaneFCBvs BOC16.1MRanking Guirassy over Kane because him and Sane playing 87 minutes against United is worrying and also the fact that they don't seem as lethal as the Bayern under Nagelsmann that beat Bochum 7-0 TWICE.
4Leroy SanéFCBvs BOC13.7MSane looked more dangerous than Kane against United and I just have a hunch that he gets a similar score to Kane at the very least while also netting you a nice 1.5M as he is on sale.
5Kingsley ComanFCBvs BOC13.1MConsidering that Bayern have scored 19 goals in their four games against Bochum since they were promoted, I think any of their forwards could be good picks.
6Lois OpendaRBL@BMG14.5MIt isn't often that you see a player get Kicker's worse possible rating of six but Borussia had three of them in the last game (Friedrich, Ngoumou, Scally) and might field all of them again while taking Honorat out who was one of their better players against Darmstadt. If so many forwards didn't have a good game at once, Openda could've been ranked a lot higher.
7Niclas FüllkrugBVBvs WOB14.1MFun fact: Dortmund have scored six goals in each of their last two Bundesliga home games against Wolfsburg. I still doubt that I will be getting any of their players.
8Ermedin DemirovićFCAvs M058.9MIf you haven't considered Demirović before, maybe it is time that you should only if you need a budget forward. He has just nine points less than Kane, is averaging 10 points a game, has a goal and three assists and is also on sale this week.
9Jonas WindWOB@BVB11.2M
10Marvin DuckschSVWvs KOE10.9M

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Jonas HofmannB04vs FCH16MDidn't start midweek so he shouldn't be a minutes risk like Wirtz.
2Xavi SimonsRBL@BMG15.2M
3Florian WirtzB04vs FCH15.1M
4Chris FührichVFBvs SVD9.8M
5Jamal MusialaFCBvs BOC15MHigh ceiling but still doesn't seem essential for some reason.
6Marco ReusBVBvs WOB12.9MBased on previous trends, Reus seems to almost always do better than Brandt when both of them start.
7Julian BrandtBVBvs WOB16.2MBrandt had a hattrick of assists in BVB's 6-0 win against Wolfsburg at home and two assists in the 6-1 win at home before that so those are good signs.
8Vincenzo GrifoSCF@SGE15.8M
9Enzo MillotVFBvs SVD8.1M
10Granit XhakaB04vs FCH10.9M

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Jeremie FrimpongB04vs FCH15MProjected to get 13 points this week, five more than Stenzel in second according to @Bundesliga_BP.
2Alphonso DaviesFCBvs BOC15.8MJust have a hunch that Davies might be better than Frimpong this week but every stat, odd, expert opinion, etcetera seems to say otherwise so I am ranking him second.
3Alejandro GrimaldoB04vs FCH10.6M
4David RaumRBL@BMG12MGiving him the edge over Henrichs this week as Borussia have conceded the most goals from set-pieces with five goals conceded from just four games.
5Pascal StenzelVFBvs SVD4MWIll either get a big haul of three points. There is no in between.
6Benjamin HenrichsRBL@BMG12.1M
7Mitchell WeiserSVWvs KOE10.8MIf you can, I would hold him as he also plays Darmstadt next week.
8Jérôme RoussillonFCUvs TSG8M
9Lukas KüblerSCF@SGE5.7M
10Philipp MweneM05@FCA5.7MYes, Mainz has been bottle of the table worse but Augsburg have been just as bad and although he Mwene has not done anything of note lately, I still prefer him over other budget options (except Stenzel of course)/

1Sven UlreichFCBvs BOC4.9MThe focus is all on Leverkusen but I think Bayern are more likely to keep a cleansheet this week.

4Kevin MüllerGKPFCH@B045.4M
5Jan Niklas-BesteMIDFCH@B047.8MBeste is the top name on the sale list of Bundesliga Fantasy managers but what if I told you that Leverkusen is the second-worst team when it comes to defending from set-pieces with four goals conceded so far. They have conceded five goals in total so Beste's set-pieces will come in handy.
6Yannick GerhardtMIDWOB@BVB7.8M
7Linton MainaMIDKOE@SVW6.1MIf you are getting a Koln attacker just for them to blank, you might as well get Maina who is on sale.

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Harry KaneFCBvs B0415.9MThe opinion of the majority and goal-scoring odds indicate that Kane is the best forward this week. I am not entirely sure but I also don't have any counter arguments because Kane is definitely a big game player.
2Lois OpendaRBLvs FCA14.5MIf you want to go differential this week, I think Leipzig forwards could be a good option. Augsburg have the second-worst defence in the league and this could be the game with the most goals even though I expect only the home side to do all the scoring.
3Victor BonifaceB04@FCB13MThe toughest game possible for Boniface but still fully expecting him to spam shots and possibly get a goal. With the form Leverkusen are in, they should be able to get points off Bayern.
4Serhou GuirassyVFB@M0513MReliable and will probably be a must-have next matchday against Darmstadt but I don't think his ceiling is that high away against Mainz.
5Tomáš ČvančaraBMG@SVD12.3MWon't surprise me a bit if this game ends up being another goal fest like the 4-4 match on MD1 between BMG and FCA.
6Benjamin ŠeškoRBLvs FCA10.9MRB Leipzig might have a Haaland-esque player on their hands with Šeško and I might punt on him if he starts.
7Leroy SanéFCBvs B0415MSané has looked sharp lately so a double up of Bayern forwards is back on the cards again if you have the budget.
8Marvin DuckschSVW@FCH10.9M
9Andrej KramarićTSG@KOE12.8M
10Kevin BehrensFCU@WOB9.3M
BonusThomas MüllerFCBvs B0413.1MNot many people will consider Thomas Müller and it makes sense since he is a possible minutes risk if Musiala is fit but I had to mention him because his recent record against Leverkusen is incredible. Three goals and seven assists in his last nine games against them despite mostly playing only around 60 minutes in each match.

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Xavi SimonsRBLvs FCA14.8MWith Olmo out, he will have even more responsibility in attack and facing the worst team he will play against so far, I think he has another big score in him.
2Jan-Niklas BesteFCHvs SVW7.4MThere are more managers expecting a Weiser haul than a Beste one but I am not buying it because I can't imagine Heidenheim not fighting for three points in a six-pointer and their first home win in the Bundesliga.
3Jonas HofmannB04@FCB16.1MThe "Bayern Killer," how many players can gloat that the best record of their careers is against Bayern Munich? Hofmann almost single-handedly would win games for Borussia against Bayern and the numbers say it all. He has four goals and seven assists against them in just 15 games. With pretty much the best team he has ever played for, I think he can do even better.
4Julian BrandtBVB@SCF15.9M
5Chris FührichVFB@M059.6MThere aren't too many viable options in midfield this week so I am happy to roll with Führich during his purple patch. He has two goals and two assists from four games so far.
6Kevin StögerBOCvs SGE8.6MBochum is another team that I think has the potential to create an upset at home. The only problem with Stöger is that he plays Bayern and Leipzig in the next four matches.
7Vincenzo GrifoSCFvs BVB15.4M
8Florian WirtzB04@FCB15.1M
9Franck HonoratBMG@SVD11.2MFinally predicted to play on the wing instead of wing-back so I prefer him over Ngoumou if you have the budget to spare.
10Florian KainzKOEvs TSG11M

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Benjamin HenrichsRBLvs FCA12MIf you haven't realized yet, Henrichs has been almost as good as Davies and Frimpong despite not being involved in goals as often. With games against Augsburg, Borussia and Bochum before the next set of unlimited transfers, he is a must-have according to me.
2Alphonso DaviesFCBvs B0415.9MGiving him the slight edge over Frimpong because of the home game.
3David RaumRBLvs FCA11.6MAlthough they are missing Orban, I think Henrichs+Raum could be a good double up at least for this week.
4Jeremie FrimpongB04@FCB15.1M
5Mitchell WeiserSVW@FCH9.5MNot expecting a cleansheet but he could certainly do some damage with bonus points. Also on sale this week.
6Robin GosensFCU@WOB11.2M
7Rasmus CarstensenKOEvs TSG5.1MAccording to Bundesliga BP on Twitter, Carstensen surprisingly has the highest predicted points among defenders this week at 9.32. Raum and Henrichs are behind him.
8Pascal StenzelVFB@M054.1M
9Ramy BensebainiBVB@SCF13.4M
10Ko ItakuraBMG@SVD7.9M

Bundesliga Fantasy: Template Team for Matchday 4

What is the Bundesliga Template team after the first International Break of the season? We take a look in this article.

Forwards

Victor Boniface

🦁 Club: Bayer Leverkusen

💰 Price: €13M

📅 Next four fixtures: FCB (A), FCH (H), M05 (A), KOE (H)

Yes, he plays against Bayern Munich next, but after seeing how Leverkusen have started the season, there is little doubt that they will score away and also possibly get some points off the champions. And if you expect them to score goals then the obvious choice is Boniface. Many managers are already considering him as a fixture-proof asset for the rest of the season with scores of 10, 23 and 25 thanks to four goals and two assists already. You really can’t go wrong with a player averaging seven shots a game so far. Plus, he is also 7th for duels won with 36 despite being a striker.

Harry Kane

🔴 Club: Bayern Munich

💰 Price: €15.9M

📅 Next four fixtures: B04 (H), BOC (H), RBL (A), SCF (H)

After three games, the general consensus is that Harry Kane is as good as we all thought he was. Three goals and an assist to start the season so he has been responsible for 44% of Bayern’s nine goals. That will be a continuing trend and not having him in your team is just asking for a red arrow.

Midfielders

Nathan Ngoumou

🐎 Club: Borussia Mönchengladbach

💰 Price: €6.2M

📅 Next four fixtures: SVD (A), RBL (H), BOC (A), M05 (H)

Ngoumou fills up one of the budget spots in midfield. Besides the first match against Augsburg, he hasn’t been any special and the same can be said for the entire team but it looks like he will be a popular pick again since he plays Darmstadt on MD4 and Bochum on MD6.

Julian Brandt

🐝 Club: Borussia Dortmund

💰 Price: €15.9M

📅 Next four fixtures: SCF (A), WOB (H), TSG (A), FCU (H)

He might only have one goal and one assist so far but after watching Dortmund play, it seems obvious that the attack will revolve a lot around Brandt because he seems to be one of the few BVB players who care and give it their all on the pitch. Team morale is at its lowest in a long time and it looks like Dortmund’s title challenge might already be falling apart. Füllkrug being injured doesn’t help but for now, it seems Brandt will have to do most of the heavy lifting for the team. It isn’t a convincing side but they should still win most of their games with Brandt playing a big part. Still considering him as a placeholder till Musiala is back.

Xavi Simons

🐂 Club: RB Leipzig

💰 Price: €14.8M

📅 Next four fixtures: FCA (H), BMG (A), FCB (H), BOC (H)

Leipzig have one of the best schedules till the next International Break playing Augsburg, Borussia, Bayern and Bochum in their next four. Besides Bayern, they are playing the joint second-worst defences (Augsburg, Borussia) and fourth-worst defence (Bochum). Olmo could’ve been the template pick here but since he is injured, Simons will be the most popular choice since he is nailed in the starting XI now. He isn’t half bad either with two goals and three assists in just his last two games for 22 and 20 points.

Chris Führich

🐊 Club: VfB Stuttgart

💰 Price: €9.6M

📅 Next four fixtures: M05 (A), SVD (H), KOE (A), WOB (H)

Stuttgart is another team that has been highly impressive. Their team is far from the best, and some would say worse than last season, but besides a 5-1 thrashing by Leipzig, they have won both of their games against Freiburg and Bochum 5-0 and sit in third place currently. Guirassy is the obvious option from Stuttgart’s attack as he is the top goal-scorer right now with five goals, but he isn’t necessarily template, and if you have a midfield spot to spare, Führich might be a great bargain at 9.6M. He already has two goals and two assists from three games and 18 points in each of Stuttgart’s wins, so it makes you wonder if this could finally be his breakout season. Führich has the form and the confidence, and games against Mainz and Darmstadt after the break should certainly help if he wants to keep his good streak running.

Defenders

Alphonso Davies

🔴 Club: Bayern Munich

💰 Price: €15.9M

📅 Next four fixtures: B04 (H), BOC (H), RBL (A), SCF (H)

Davies surprisingly only had 39% ownership at the start of the IB despite having almost the same number of assists (3) as he had last season (4) in just three matches. He is the highest-scoring player in the game (55) after Boniface (58) and has been more dominant than Coman on the same wing while attacking. Mazraoui is much cheaper but I am also almost certain that Davies will outscore him by a lot so he is a must-have for me alongside Kane from Bayern.

Benjamin Henrichs

🐂 Club: RB Leipzig

💰 Price: €12M

📅 Next four fixtures: FCA (H), BMG (A), FCB (H), BOC (H)

Henrichs is one of those players that went under the radar at the start but I am sure will be very popular after the first wildcard. He has double-digit scores in each of his first three games and has games against Augsburg, Borussia, Bayern and Bochum next so there is a very good chance that he will keep three cleansheets before the next International Break. Although rotation is possible thanks to the UCL games.

Jeremie Frimpong

🦁 Club: Bayer Leverkusen

💰 Price: €15.1M

📅 Next four fixtures: FCB (A), FCH (H), M05 (A), KOE (H)

Frimpong is another one of those options where it is just better to pay up and stick to the proven player instead of going for budget alternatives. Grimaldo is good and doubling up on both Leverkusen full-backs is even better but alone he can’t compete with Frimpong who has a goal and three assists and is also third for total points after Boniface and Davies with 51. Probably the most fixture-proof defender in the league.

Pascal Stenzel

🐊 Club: VfB Stuttgart

💰 Price: €4.1M

📅 Next four fixtures: M05 (A), SVD (H), KOE (A), WOB (H)

With Omar Traoré not being fully nailed, I expect Stenzel to be a popular budget option in defence. He won’t get 25-pointers very often but for 4.1M he is a fine pick from one of the in-form teams in the league.

Goalkeeper

Moritz Nicolas

🐎 Club: Borussia Mönchengladbach

💰 Price: €1.1M

📅 Next four fixtures: SVD (A), RBL (H), BOC (A), M05 (H)

It is not often that you see a nailed keeper costing 1.1M in Bundesliga Fantasy so Nicolas is without any doubt a must-have in any team. With Omlin being out for a long time, it is his spot to lose and you won’t have to worry about him being replaced immediately unlike Blaswich and Ulreich.

Fantasy Bundesliga Template Team

Bench

Loïs Openda

🐂 Club: RB Leipzig

💰 Price: €14.5M

📅 Next four fixtures: FCA (H), BMG (A), FCB (H), BOC (H)

If you want to take advantage of Leipzig’s fixtures post-IB, Openda is a good third-choice forward to have. Šeško has been shining for NT and even scored two goals in the last match against Union Berlin but is more risky since he still isn’t nailed.

Possible alternatives: Serhou Guirassy, Jonas Wind, Tomáš Čvančara and Andrej Kramarić.

Jan-Niklas Beste

🐻 Club: FC Heidenheim

💰 Price: €7.4M

📅 Next four fixtures: SVW (H), B04 (A), FCU (H), SGE (A)

Originally this spot was for Jeong but it seems like he won’t start this week because of NT commitments so the second-best option is Beste. He showed a small glimpse of what he could do against Hoffenheim with a goal, assist and penalty missed for 18 points and he seems like the best option from Heidenheim going forward, especially in home games.

Possible alternatives: Jonas Hofmann, Vincenzo Grifo, Enzo Millot.

Omar Traoré

🐻 Club: FC Heidenheim

💰 Price: €1M

📅 Next four fixtures: SVW (H), B04 (A), FCU (H), SGE (A)

If you want to fit in all the premium outfield players in your team, you will need budget enablers like Traoré.

Possible alternatives: Alex Grimaldo, Mitchell Weiser, Robin Gosens.

Kevin Müller

🐻 Club: FC Heidenheim

💰 Price: €5.2M

📅 Next four fixtures: SVW (H), B04 (A), FCU (H), SGE (A)

The highest-scoring sub-6M goalkeeper so far.

Possible alternatives: Marcel Schuhen, Alexander Nübel and Frederik Rønnow.

Forwards

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Victor BonifaceB04vs SVD12.6MYes, Kane is more safe but have you seen a player have 11 shots in a game before? I think this is a good week to go differential star because Boniface has a great ceiling this week against a team that lost 1-4 to 10 men at home last week.
2Harry KaneFCB@BMG15.8MBorussia is Bayern's bogey team so is it a bad idea to get Bayern's forwards? I think the opposite. This is the worst Borussia team in a long time so much so that they have conceded the most goals from the first two games with 7 (tied with Augsburg). Now with Omlin out and his replacement being someone who has played in just one Bundesliga match in his whole career, I am even less convinced that they can hold Bayern back.
3Leroy SanéFCB@BMG14.6MIf Boniface getting 11 shots and Wirtz getting 10 key passes away to Borussia in a derby match last week seems outrageous to you, imagine what Bayern's frontline could do.
4Donyell MalenBVBvs FCH14.4M
5Jonas WindWOB@TSG10.8MTempted to rank him at 3 but I feel that would be too much recency bias after games against Heidenheim and Koln.
6Serge GnabryFCB@BMG14.1M
7Sébastien HallerBVBvs FCH14.2MEven with a good fixture I don't think it might be so rewarding holding him even if he does score.
8Andrej KramarićTSGvs WOB12.6M
9Karim OnisiwoM05@SVW9.9MWerder Bremen have conceded 48 shots from their two games already so don't count Onisiwo out. I think he good be a good differential for the bench.
10Marvin DuckschSVWvs M0510.9MHe should be the focal point of the attack now that Füllkrug is gone.

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Jonas HofmannB04vs SVD15.7MHeart says Grifo but mind and logical reasoning says Hofmann. Leverkusen are playing with full steam so it is almost impossible that they don't score atleast three goals.
2Vincenzo GrifoSCF@VFB15.6M
3Julian BrandtBVBvs FCH14.1MEven if Dortmund put on a horror show you can expect him to get points like last week. On sale too if you don't have him yet.
4Florian WirtzB04vs SVD14.7MI love both Wirtz and Hofmann but the fact that he managed to match the latter's score last week despite getting 10 key passes says a lot.
5Rolland SallaiSCF@VFB9.4MI still recommend spending the extra to get Grifo but Sallai isn't a bad choice since he always loves scoring against bottom teams.
6Kevin StögerBOC@FCA8.2MAugsburg have a 33% chance to keep a cleansheet but I don't believe it and Stöger still remains Bochum's biggest threat in attack.
7Joshua KimmichFCB@BMG15.3M
8Mattias SvanbergWOB@TSG8.6MPlays deeper and more centrally compared to Wolfsburg's wingers but there isn't much of an argument against a player averaging 13 points in the first two games and who is also on sale.
9Jae-Sung LeeM05@SVW8.1M
10Dani OlmoRBL@FCU14.5M

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Jeremie FrimpongB04@B0414.7MBest cleansheet odds + 30% chance to score. You can't ask for more and his spot as #1 isn't even up for debate.
2Alphonso DaviesFCB@BMG15.7M
3Alex GrimaldoB04vs SVD10.1M
4Philipp MweneM05@SVW6.2MIf you have played Bundesliga Fantasy before, you will know Mwene and the time he was a must-have. A bit like Sosa. He already got nine points last week without a return and I think he will return to his old form soon so I will try to sneak him as a budget pick this week.
5Josip JuranovićFCUvs RBL10.3M
6Philipp MaxSGEvs KOE10.4M
7Benjamin HenrichsRBL@FCU11.6MUnion Berlin have won their last five Bundesliga games against Leipzig but I still like Henrichs' floor.
8Ramy BensebainiBVBvs FCH13.3MI already had a bad feeling about Dortmund's defence but even less now after seeing the starting XI.
9Rasmus CarstensenKOE@SGE5.1M5+8 points in the first two games and will play OOP on the wing again.
10Kiliann SildilliaSCF@VFB5.1M
