After a lengthy International Break (the last one until March), Bundesliga Fantasy is back for matchday 12 with Bayern Munich taking on local rivals FC Augsburg in the Bavarian derby.

Forwards

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Robert LewandowskiFCB@FCA19.4MLewandowski has 12 goals and two assists in his last seven games for club and country.
2Leroy SanéFCB@FCA15.6MIf star flexibility is a concern with two Bayern forwards, it is worth noting that Lewandowski is averaging 13 points per game which is difficult for other players to match, especially with Haaland out. Bayern also have an individual kick-off for the next 8/10 matchdays till February.
3Lukas NmechaWOB@DSC9MGoals in four out of his last five games for Wolfsburg makes him a strong contender for the third forward spot. Especially when you consider that he plays Arminia, Leipzig, and Fürth in the next three weeks.
4Thomas MüllerFCB@FCA17MMüller has four goals and eight assists in just 11 matches this season, including double-digit hauls in each of his last four games but is still underrated by Bundesliga Fantasy managers.
5Marco ReusBVBvs VFB14.8MReus has been the most important attacking player for BVB in Haaland's absence. He is consistently involved in goals and has also been taking the most shots. Reus could be a solid differential with a game against Stuttgart who are winless in their last four Bundesliga games and at the top of the table for most shots conceded.
6Alassane PléaBMGvs SGF13.6MGreuther Fürth have the worst defence in the league and broke the record for the worst start to a Bundesliga season with just one point from their first 11 games.

TL;DR: They are currently worse than Schalke were last season.
7Jonathan BurkardtM05vs KOE7.2MIf you haven't considered Burkardt at all so far, hear me out. He is averaging 16 points in his last three games and plays Köln in the last game this week and Stuttgart in the first game next week.
8Taiwo AwoniyiFCUvs BSC8.6MThe Berlin derby is always a heated affair, so you can expect goals in this match.
9Anthony ModesteKOE@M058.4MIt isn't a difficult task to be a high floor pick in fantasy if the entire team's attack revolves around you. Modeste has averaged an unreal 6.3 shots per game over his last three matches, and he has four goals in those games. The best forward that you can get within 9M for the long term.
10Moussa DiabyB04vs BOC13M

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Christopher NkunkuRBL@TSG16.3MEvery time Nkunku is wrongfully ditched for the French NT by Didier Deschamps, he levels up and plays the best football of his career. Hoping that this trend continues.
2Jonas HofmannBMGvs SGF13.7MIt is no secret that Borussia are much better at home (five games, three wins) than they are away (six games, one win), and this is also true for Hofmann. He is averaging 15 points per game in his last three home games, and with a match against Greuther Fürth's atrocious defence, he could be set for another haul.
3Leon GoretzkaFCB@FCA15.3MIf Kimmich's absence does any good, it is helping us decide between him and Goretzka, who has a goal involvement in each of his last three games. He is the best midfielder if you are looking to capitalize on Bayern's run of individual games in the coming weeks.
4Dominik SzoboszlaiRBL@TSG11.9MThere is always a chance that he doesn't start, especially with Olmo back in the mix.
5Filip KostićSGE@SCF15.8MIn a testament to how good Kostić is in fantasy, he is averaging 10 points a game this season despite Frankfurt being in 14th place and just three points away from the relegation zone.
6Florian WirtzB04vs BOC12.5M
7Maximillian ArnoldWOB@DSC13MDefensive teams that choose to bunker against Wolfsburg are always susceptible to conceding one of Arnold's rockets.
8Vincenzo GrifoSCFvs SGE13.5MGrifo remains as unpredictable as ever but is highly rewarding when he does have a good game.
9Lars StindlBMGvs SGF13.3MTwo weeks of rest should be adequate for him to finally gain fitness to play over 45 minutes in a game and possibly chip in with a goal.
10Julian BrandtBVBvs VFB10.8M

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Raphaël GuerreiroBVBvs VFB14.6MStill doubtful but the highest ceiling among defenders this week if he starts.
2Paulo OtávioWOB@DSC10.6MWolfsburg have kept a cleansheet in each of their last three Bundesliga games under Florian Kohfeldt. Whereas, Arminia have scored the fewest goals out of all teams so far with six.
3Christian GünterSCFvs SGE12.9M
4Omar RichardsFCB@FCA7.5MFCA-FCB is one of the most lopsided derbies in the Bundesliga, with Bayern having an 80% win percentage over their Bavarian rivals, and I don't expect this game to be any different. Richards is no Davies but worth a shout for one week against an Augsburg team that has failed to score in five out of their 11 games this season.
5Ramy BensebainiBMGvs SGF10.6MGood cleansheet potential + possibly on penalties.
6Jeremie FrimpongB04vs BOC7.8M
7AngeliñoRBL@TSG14.2MKramarić is responsible for almost half of Hoffenheim's goals, and if he misses out (+Baumgartner), it looks bleak that they will get a result out of this game.
8Silvan WidmerM05vs KOE7.8M
9Niko GießelmannFCUvs BSC4.7M
10Konstantinos MavropanosVFB@BVB6.9MMavropanos was averaging 11 points per game before injury and has a higher form rating than players such as Sané and Wirtz this season.

Goalkeepers

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Mark FlekkenSCFvs SGE7.4MFlekken+Riemann for the ceiling or Flekken+Funk if you want just one playing keeper.
2Lukáš HrádeckýB04vs BOC9.1MSaves are the most important way in which keepers score points and Hrádecký is the best at it, leading the charts for shots saved with 46, followed by Riemann (42) and Flekken (40).
3Manuel RiemannBOC@B045.5MI wouldn't take him just because he could be on penalties unless I see him score with my own eyes.
4Yann SommerM05vs SGF9.4M
5Andreas LutheFCUvs BSC5.5MRotates well in each of the next five matchdays with Flekken (same as Zentner and Horn).

Value Rankings

RankNamePositionTeamOpponentValueComments
1Joe ScallyDEFBMGvs SGF2.9M
2Amine AdliMIDB04vs BOC8MExpected to play OOP as a striker against Bochum.
3Maximilian MittelstädtDEFBSC@FCU7.1MI am not expecting any cleansheets in this game but Mittelstädt is averaging 9.75 points per game while playing OOP as a left-winger despite keeping just one cleansheet in those four games.
4Aarón MartínDEFM05vs KOE3.1MThere is no threat to his spot in the first team now as Lucoqui is out for a month atleast due to an MCL injury.
5Lukas KüblerDEFSCFvs SGE4.3M
6Yannick GerhardtMIDWOB@DSC7M
7Florian KainzMIDKOE@M058.4M
8Erhan MašovićDEFBOC@B041.6MThe cheapest defender on a team that has kept the most cleansheets so far (5).
9Hamadi Al GhaddiouiFWDVFB@BVB4.1M
10Marius FunkGKPSGF@BMG1MIf you are looking for a keeper below 5M, this is your only choice.
