Which are the best players in Bundesliga Fantasy for matchday 28? We take a look in our player rankings.
Forwards
Rank | Name | Team | Opponent | Value | Comments |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Thomas Müller | FCB | vs TSG | 16.4M | Being benched against City would've hurt but now he is full rested against a Hoffenheim team without Vogt. |
2 | Leroy Sané | FCB | vs TSG | 17.9M | I feel like there is more pressure on Bayern to win and Sane to do well in this game than the one against City because of all that happened mid-week. He was one of the best players in the UCL match and will be even more motivated now against Hoffenheim. |
3 | Randal Kolo Muani | SGE | vs BMG | 15M | |
4 | Dani Olmo | RBL | vs FCA | 12.8M | He hasn't started in a Bundesliga match since MD18 which is why his recent form looks bad but whenever he has started in the Bundesliga this season, he is averaging 9.3 points per game. Augsburg is the team with the most shots conceded and Olmo is one of the biggest shots spammers in the league. |
5 | Moussa Diaby | B04 | @WOB | 16M | Diaby is hitting purple-patch levels and I can see why many people would consider him even though he plays away against Wolfsburg. They have conceded the most goals at home in the last six games (12) whereas Leverkusen have scored the most (15). |
6 | Donyell Malen | BVB | @VFB | 13M | Malen has been the brunt of jokes ever since he joined Dortmund because of his inconsistency but now that he is finally in form (3G, 2A in last three games), I think he deserves a consideration if you are expecting Dortmund to thrash Stuttgart like me. Even with their best possible defence, Stuttgart managed to concede two against Bochum and have conceded at least two goals in each of their last four games against BVB including five in the last one. |
7 | Niclas Füllkrug | SVW | vs SCF | 10M | Only Hertha (19) and Augsburg (18) have conceded more goals over their past six away games than Freiburg (15) and I just have a hunch that Niclas Füllkrug will score again this week. Slightly doubtful this week. |
8 | Ludovic Ajorque | M05 | @KOE | 9.9M | |
9 | Marcus Thuram | BMG | @SGE | 14.8M | |
10 | Marius Bülter | S04 | vs BSC | 5.3M | Considering the form of Schalke attackers, he is the only one worth considering for me. |
Midfielders
Rank | Name | Team | Opponent | Value | Comments |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Dominik Szoboszlai | RBL | vs FCA | 16.9M | Three double-digit returns in a row without a goal or assist so happy to stick with him even though Olmo might split shots with him. |
2 | Marco Reus | BVB | @VFB | 16.2M | I wanted to rank him first considering he has blanked in only one of his last six games against Stuttgart (4G, 2A and 11G, 8A in 20 games overall) but not all sources are predicting him to start this week. |
3 | Florian Wirtz | B04 | @WOB | 14M | |
4 | Vincenzo Grifo | SCF | @SVW | 17.4M | |
5 | Julian Brandt | BVB | @VFB | 15.6M | Also worth considering is Bellingham even though he is more of a floor pick. |
6 | Jonas Hofmann | BMG | @SGE | 17.1M | Away matches are Borussia's kryptonite but considering Ndicka and Max are both out on the left for Frankfurt this week, I might just hold him this week. |
7 | Ritsu Doan | SCF | @SVW | 11.4M | Werder Bremen's left flank was awful while defending against Mainz and Widmer was having a field day. I don't think replacing Jung with Buchanan might help much. |
8 | Jae-Sung Lee | M05 | @KOE | 7.8M | Had five shots in 30 minutes off the bench against Werder Bremen. |
9 | Rodrigo Zalazar | S04 | vs BSC | 4.9M | |
10 | Daichi Kamada | SGE | vs BMG | 12.1M |
Defenders
Name | Team | Opponent | Value | Comments | |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
1 | Raphaël Guerreiro | BVB | @VFB | 14.2M | I will be praying that he plays in midfield but even if he doesn't, he is my favourite defender this week. |
2 | Benjamin Pavard | FCB | vs TSG | 13.6M | Pavard is another strong contender for star pick for me. Davies isn't nailed, he will be playing as a right-back and has two 20+ scores in his last four games. |
3 | Jeremie Frimpong | B04 | @WOB | 14.1M | |
4 | Benjamin Henrichs | RBL | vs FCA | 9.9M | |
5 | Danilho Doekhi | FCU | vs BOC | 6.8M | Both Union wing-backs aren't nailed but Doekhi isn't half bad. Probably the best cleansheet chance for the week. |
6 | Anthony Caci | M05 | @KOE | 7M | |
7 | Christian Günter | SCF | @SVW | 14.1M | |
8 | Ramy Bensebaini | VFB | @SGE | 12.8M | Borussia have two cleansheets in a row. |
9 | Borna Sosa | VFB | vs BVB | 13.6M | |
10 | Moritz Jenz | S04 | vs BSC | 3.3M | If only Schalke had an attacking defender. |

3 | Jiri Pavlenka | SVW | vs SCF | 5.7M | |
