This is a review of player recommendations you may not have considered for your FPL squad. Here are differential’s player recommendations for Gameweek 9.
Defender: Kieran Trippier (5.0 – 2.7%)
Newcastle is the team with the best defence in the Premier League this season. However, that is not the reason Trippier is on this list.
Trippier is Newcastle’s set-piece specialist. He has also provided 12 key passes to his teammates this season. With Newcastle’s new playing style, Trippier will be an intriguing asset for the club moving forward.
Next Opponents: Fulham, West Ham, Brentford
Defender : Reece James (5.5 – 6.2%)
Many have forgotten that James is one of England’s most complete wing-backs at the moment. He can score goals and provide assists, has a strong defence and still has a lot to offer the team when he is fit.
This season, he has scored one goal and provided three assists, with four shots on target and 11 key passes to his teammates.
Just like last week when I recommended Chalobah, Chelsea’s schedule is worth considering when recruiting the captain for your team.
Next Opponents: Sunderland, Tottenham, Wolverhampton
Midfielder : Bruno Guimaraes (6.5 – 2.4%)
Newcastle always perform well when playing at home, with their attack line able to perform more sharply than usual. Bruno Guimaraes may not be the ideal asset to choose from Newcastle, but he often makes the difference for Newcastle when the front line is deadlocked.
Against Fulham this week, it looks like Bruno will once again make the difference, given that Fulham score more goals from the second line, where Bruno often operates when Newcastle are on the attack.
Next Opponents: Fulham, West Ham, Brentford
Forward : Danny Welbeck (6.3 – 3.4%)
Although he is not a regular starter for Brighton, Welbeck’s statistics this season are quite promising. He has recorded 9 shots, 5 shots on target, created 5 key passes for his teammates, and has scored 4 goals for Brighton.
Against MU, who have conceded 6 goals from Welbeck so far, he is clearly a tempting choice to pass up.
Next Opponents: Manchester United, Leeds United, Crystal Palace
That was the recommendation for differential players for Gameweek 9.
