With two match weeks remaining before the winter break in the Bundesliga, we have to try to approach the top spot in all our Bundesliga Fantasy leagues. To help you with that, we bring you eight differentials for the week, so that you can differentiate from the rest of your league mates and win your match week. Remember, a differential is a player who’s owned below 15% of teams.
Alassane Pléa / BMG / FWD (2%)
The Colts’ star forward has been averaging 9.3 ppg in the last three weeks. It’s the best differential (in my opinion) of the week if you want a cheaper alternative to Sané, Boniface or Openda.
Luca Netz / BMG / DEF (8%)
Another Borussia Monchengladbach player and it’s because I love their matchup against Werder Bremen. Netz has scored 33 points in his last 4 games, he also has generated 1.55 xA (expected Assists) and 17 chances. As well, his rival this week has the 7th worst attack in the last five matches.
Ermin Demirović / FCA / FWD (4%)
One of the underrated players in fantasy this year. The FWD7 has averaged 11,3 ppg when he plays at home, and even if his opponent this week is Borussia Dortmund, Demirović can do a lot of damage to the 4th worst team of the last five weeks in the league.
Niclas Füllkrug / BVB / FWD (2%)
I don’t come from speaking highly of Borussia Dortmund, but I can speak highly of Füllkrug. In the last 6 league matches, he has produced 6 G/A, even if his team hasn’t helped him at all.
Jordy Makengo / SCF / DEF (0%) and Kiliann Sildillia / SCF / DEF (3%)
The two defensive backs of Freiburg are on the list. Both are solid options against Köln, who’s the worst attack in the league. Sildillia played the full Europa League match on Thursday against West Ham, perhaps Makengo only played 74 minutes. So if you want an upside, choose Sildillia, if you want a secure floor, choose Makengo.
Franck Honorat / BMG / MID (3%)
The French newcomer has been a little irregular in fantasy this season. Regardless of that, he has 43 chances created (2nd best), nine big chances created (4th best) and 4.9 xA (2nd best). This week against Werder Bremen seems to be a big opportunity for him to shine.
Jonas Wind / WOB / FWD (7%)
The Danish is the offensive motor of his team. He also faces the worst defense of the league, Darmstadt. A good sleeper for the attack this week.
Brajan Gruda / M05 / MID (6%)
Another good option to target if you want a differential at midfield. Gruda has won 64 duels and generated 1.61 xA and 18 chances created this season. Not the most exciting option but his matchup against Heidenheim at home gives him a big upside.
I hope that at least one of these options can help you to achieve the top match week qualification in your league unless you play against me.
