Bundesliga Fantasy Player Rankings: Matchday 20

There is a strong argument for doubling or tripling up on Leipzig players as they take on Schalke in our Bundesliga Fantasy player rankings for the week. Matchday 20 is the same as matchday 3 with home and away sides reversed and we kick off the matchday 30 minutes earlier than usual (20:00 CET) with champions Bayern Munich taking on Hertha Berlin at the Olympiastadion Berlin on Friday.

1Robert LewandowskiFCB@BSC23.7MOne game away from making it 10 consecutive games
with goals scored.
2Erling Braut HaalandBVB@SCF19.4MA bit unfortunate to not have scored in the last game but it will be tough to hold him back if you are the team with the most shots conceded after Schalke.
3André SilvaSGE@TSG18.7MHoffenheim might've improved a bit defensively but Frankfurt is on a roll and no other team has scored more goals over the last five matchdays compared to their 15 with Silva scoring seven of them.
4Wout WeghorstWOB@FCA18.3MHis efficiency is a bit of a curse because he has goal in his last four out of five games but hasn't been able to score above 11 points. If he could get more bonus and multiple returns then Weghorst could be a must-have.
5Thomas MüllerFCB@BSC21.4MIt might've gone unnoticed but Müller has been giving tough competition to Lewandowski with an average of 13 points in his last four games.
6Alexander SørlothRBL@S0414MA bit pricy for a forward that is yet to settle in the Bundesliga but the only one who plays Schalke this week.
7Leon BaileyB04Vs VFB14M
8Andrej KramarićTSGVs SGE17.1MKramarić is hitting purple patch form right now but Frankfurt is a tough challenge.
9Nicolás GonzálezVFB@B0410.2MGonzález might be averaging the most number of shots per game this season (4.67) but Leverkusen might be his kryptonite having conceded the least shots per game (9.4) after Leipzig (8.3).

1Christopher NkunkuRBL@S0415.2MAnother blow to Schalke's survival hopes because their tormentor-in-chief Nkunku is back and he has six assists in his last three games against them.
2Joshua KimmichFCB@BSC18.3MThe best Bayern midfielder to have even if he is the only one.
3Jadon SanchoBVB@SCF20.5MSancho under Favre: Zero goals and four assists in nine games.

Sancho under Terzić: Three goals and six assists in eight games.

Enough said.
4Filip KostićSGE@TSG17.2M
5Dani OlmoRBL@S0416.8MThe tormentor-in-chief's henchman.
6Lars StindlBMGVs KOE15.1M
7Florian WirtzB04Vs VFB8.3MHe would be an easy recommendation with games against Stuttgart, Mainz and Augsburg coming up but Leverkusen's recent form of three losses in a row including the 2-1 defeat against fourth-tier Essen in the DFB Pokal does raise concerns.
8Yannick GerhardtWOB@FCA6.9MGerhardt has appeal as a budget option against Augsburg.
9Christoph BaumgartnerTSGVs SGE11.9M
10Ritsu DōanDSCVs SVW9.6MA real workhorse for Arminia in attack but there is even more pressure on him now that the team has slipped into the relegation zone.

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1AngeliñoRBL@S0416.7MIt's been a while since we have seen him score but this would be a great game for him to be on the scoresheet having scored his first goal of the season against Schalke.
2Raphaël GuerreiroBVB@SCF16.4M
3Christopher TrimmelFCU@M0510.5MThe return of the assist leader amongst defenders adds the much needed stability for Union in attack as well as defense with consecutive games against the two bottom teams - Mainz and Schalke.
4Paulo OtávioWOB@FCA8.6MWolfsburg are rock solid in defense and have kept a clean sheet in each of their last three games. Additionally, Otávio has a great floor due to the amount of duels he wins.
5Ludwig AugustinssonSVW@DSC9.3MA suspension risk but a defender on set-pieces against the worst attack in the league is a worthy shout.
6Borna SosaVFB@B044.6MSosa has been on fire lately setting up big chances one after another but Leverkusen is an expert in neutralizing threat.
7Nordi MukieleRBL@S0410.8MThere is no limit on number of players from a team so double-trouble in midfield and defense against Schalke this week is a real possibility.
8Ramy BensebainiBMGVs KOE11.8MStands out with an individual fixture against Koln in a week where most of the popular defenders play at the same time.
9Almamy ToureSGE@TSG7.8MThe Durm replacement is another player who has a penchant for attacking bonus.
10Alphonso DaviesFCB@BSC14.1MA good chance at a clean sheet in the early fixture but Bayern defenders have been nothing special this season. Especially considering how much team value they eat up.

Goalkeepers

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Stefan OrtegaDSCVs SVW6.3MArminia have conceded eight goals over the last two games but hoping that they turn it around this time in the final game of the week.
2Gregor KobelVFB@B045.3M
3Andreas LutheFCU@M055.2M
4Rafał GikiewiczFCAVs WOB7.9M
5Florian MüllerSCFVs BVB4.1MThere is potential for saves but it needs to offset the amount of goals they will concede.

Bundesliga Fantasy Player Rankings: Matchday 19

There are just 15 matchdays left in Bundesliga Fantasy as we look to make a push in the final half of the season. Eintracht Frankfurt and Borussia Dortmund players are on the radar for the week as they take on bottom teams such as Hertha and Augsburg respectively.

Note: Wout Weghorst is doubtful for the week due to injury concerns.

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Robert LewandowskiFCBVs TSG23.3MIf Lewandowski keeps up his run of eight (!) consecutive games with goals scored (11 goals in total) then I will soon run out of fingers to keep count.
2Andre SilvaSGEVs BSC18.3MFresh from thrashing a strong defensive side in Arminia 5-0 and Hertha are in a bad slump so this game could have more goals than the Dortmund one.
3Erling Braut HaalandBVBVs FCA19.4MThere is still the uncertainty of Haaland and Dortmund's performances under Terzić but the golden boy should continue scoring goals even if the chances are limited.
4Nicolás GonzálezVFBVs M0510MHis penalty duties will be under the scanner after the miss last week but he was still able to score eight points in that game. The early fixture against 17th placed Mainz makes him the ideal forward from the early kickoff.
5Wout WeghorstWOBVs SCF18MOnly Schalke have conceded more shots compared to Freiburg so Weghorst will have plenty of opportunities to score in the final game of the week.
6Thomas MüllerFCBVs TSG21.1M
7Andrej KramarićTSG@FCB16.8MPlays the best team in the league with the 10th best defense and Hoffenheim are a known thorn in their side for always taking the game to them. They also won the reverse fixture and Kramarić scored twice in that game.
8Matheus CunhaBSC@SGE14.7MA new day, a new coach but the only thing that remains constant is the praise for Cunha. Hertha should be a bit more energized heading into this game and Cunha will look to make up for last week's performance as the club's talisman.
9Marcus ThuramBMG@FCU14.5MMore of a punt but Union is one of Thuram's favorite teams to play against and he has three goals in his last two games against them.
10Ermedin DemirovićSCF@WOB7.7MA striker with stats that would make you think he is a #10, Demirović has three goals and six assists in his last six games. The battle between Wolfsburg's resolute defense and Demirović on his purple patch is one to watch.

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Filip KostićSGEVs BSC16.8MKostić is putting up figures that made him essential in fantasy over the years averaging 13.1 points in his last six games. Hertha are in dire straits right now and Frankfurt could turn this into a goal fest again.
2Jadon SanchoBVBVs FCA20.1MLooked like his previous best against Borussia with two assists but couldn't see the team through because of a poor defensive display. Terzic is helping him turn his form around so there is more of the same to come.
3Joshua KimmichFCBVs TSG17.9MWho says that deep-lying midfielders don't make good assets in Bundesliga Fantasy? Kimmich just dropped the highest score for a midfielder this season with three assists and 31 points against Schalke.
4Lars StindlBMG@FCU15.1MUnion's biggest strength this season has been their defensive rigidity but will miss key players in the back line like Trimmel and Hübner when in-form Borussia come to town.
5Ritsu DōanDSC@KOE9.5MEarly call for a high floor pick that offers star flexibility with fixtures against Koln and Bremen over the next two weeks.
6Christopher NkunkuRBLVs B0414.8M
7Yannick GerhardtWOBVs SCF6.6MHe has become a steady source of bonus after moving to #10 and should create plenty of chances against Freiburg.
8Amine HaritS04@SVW11.5MHarit is a real livewire for Schalke in attack but isn't helped on much by his teammates. So you are relying on his individual brilliance here if you decide to punt on him.
9Gonzalo CastroVFBVs M055.4M
10Vincenzo GrifoSCF@WOB14MGrifo has started taking fewer shots after the introduction of Demirović but still has strong underlying stats and leads the team for key passes in almost every game. However, watch out for the double right-back combo of Baku and Mbabu against him.

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1AngeliñoRBLVs B0416.3MLast week's defeat was a rare defensive lapse for Leipzig but the best defense in the league should get their act back together against Leverkusen.
2Raphaël GuerreiroBVBVs FCA16M
3Borna SosaVFB@SCF4.7MHe checks all the requirements for a good fantasy defender:
1) Is on set-pieces.
2) Got an individual fixture.
3) Good floor
4) Plays against Mainz/Schalke/Koln.
4Erik DurmSGEVs BSC3.6MHertha have been the worst attacking team in the league over the last four games, scoring just once.
5Felix AguSVWVs S044.4MGoal potential + Clean sheet potential against Schalke.
6Paulo OtávioWOBVs SCF8.3MOtávio got 12 points just for duels last week and while it might be debatable, Wolfsburg got a decent chance at keeping Freiburg at bay here.
7Ramy BensebainiBMG@FCU11.6MThe loss of Trimmel who has six assists this season due to suspension should take away some venom from the Union attack already missing Max Kruse.
8Cedric BrunnerDSC@KOE4.2MArminia Bielefeld might've conceded five in the last game but it is tough for Koln to even score one right now.
9Christian GünterSCF@WOB12M
10Alphonso DaviesFCBVs TSG14.1M

Goalkeepers

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Stefan OrtegaDSC@KOE6.3MKoln is giving Hertha some tough competition not just to avoid relegation but also to see which team has a worse attack having scored in just one game out of their last six. That was against Schalke.
2Robin ZentnerM05@VFB4.7M
3Gregor KobelVFBVs M055.1M
4Rafał GikiewiczFCA@BVB8M
5Florian MüllerSCF@WOB4.2MMüller had the game of his career against Stuttgart with a penalty save and 15 points for saves finishing on an insane 22 points. But Wolfsburg is no Stuttgart and their game is more about creating good chances rather than aimlessly shooting at goal whenever possible.

Bundesliga Fantasy Player Rankings: Matchday 18

The Hinrunde has come to an end in the Bundesliga and as we gear up to take on the final half of the season in Bundesliga Fantasy, we look at the best players for the week that you could get on unlimited transfers. And as is obvious, Bayern Munich and Leipzig will be the teams to target as they play Schalke and Mainz. All the best to the fantasy managers for the Rückrunde!

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Robert LewandowskiFCBVs S0422.9MSchalke have improved a bit since their 8-0 thrashing in the reverse fixture but a rout is still on the cards. I will be disappointed if Lewandowski doesn't get at least 15 points in this game with the form he is in.
2Andre SilvaSGE@DSC17.9MArminia has had some strong defensive displays lately but Silva and Frankfurt are coming in hot after going unbeaten for six games.
3Andrej KramarićTSGVs KOE16.4MA bit streaky but has great potential in this matchup after scoring a hattrick in the reverse fixture.
4Nicolás GonzálezVFB@SCF9.8MSlowly turning into a fantasy favorite, he is well rested and should be motivated against Freiburg. The team that has conceded the most shots in the league after Schalke, Arminia and Augsburg. So he will have plenty of opportunities to score and gain bonus points.
5Emil ForsbergRBL@M0511.4MA bit more goal dependent for points compared to the others on this list, he was the hero in the reverse fixture with a goal and an assist. Finishing on 20 points. One to consider if you expect Leipzig to score a lot of goals.
6Erling Braut HaalandBVB@BMG19MOne of the best strikers in the world is due a goal sooner rather than later but Dortmund simply aren't creating enough chances for him.
7Thomas MüllerFCBVs S0420.5MIt is a three way competition between Müller, Gnabry and Coman if you want to double up on Bayern forwards but the former gets the nod based on form.
8Ermedin DemirovićSCFVs VFB7.4M
9Matheus CunhaBSCVs SVW14.6MHertha haven't scored in their last three Bundesliga games but Cunha has to be the one to turn it around with all the chances that he gets.
10Leon BaileyB04Vs WOB13.8M

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Joshua KimmichFCBVs S0417.5MIt is either him or Sane but only Kimmich is predicted to start and it is too hard to pass up on a Bayern midfielder against Schalke.
2Christopher NkunkuRBL@M0514.8MNkunku isn't predicted to start by Kicker but is a good bet for double digit points if he starts.
3Filip KostićSGE@DSC16.4MIf Silva is to be benched for Jovic as per Kicker, I would like Kostić even more because of his chemistry with the fellow Serbia international.
4Jadon SanchoBVB@BMG19.7MThe arrival of Terzic has had a negative impact on most Dortmund players but Sancho is an exception. He is one of the more in-form players in fantasy currently and has scores above nine points in each of his six games under the caretaker manager at an average of 13.6 points per game.
5Dani OlmoRBL@M0516.5MThe more nailed on pick from the Leipzig midfield and in better fantasy form averaging 12.5 points over the last four games.
6Lars StindlBMGVs BVB15.2MIt is a toss up for who will do better between Stindl and Hofmann when they play together. One for the early kickoff along with Sancho.
7Christoph BaumgartnerTSGVs KOE11.5M
8Vincenzo GrifoSCFVs VFB14MA bit out of form and there are much better options in the same price range this week making him a differential.
9Florian WirtzB04Vs WOB8.3M
10Ritsu DōanDSCVs SGE9.4M

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1AngeliñoRBL@M0516.4MThis would be a good game for him to get on the score sheet again.
2Raphaël GuerreiroBVB@BMG16.2MDortmund is essentially M'gladbach's boogie team having won each of the last 12 games against them other across all competitions and Guerreiro could slip in some bonus points and attacking returns if Dortmund are to win.
3Christopher TrimmelFCU@FCA10.7MHe is one yellow card away from suspension but still remains the best option from Union because of his attacking upside.
4Erik DurmSGE@DSC3.5MArminia were helped on by some hapless defending last week and still remain the worst attack in the league.
5Alphonso DaviesFCBVs S0414.1MIt is a roulette for who will start between Davies and Hernandez but the right decision could be a rewarding one against Schalke.
6Nordi MukieleRBL@M0510.5MThe Leipzig wingbacks are as tempting as the attackers but Mukiele is prone to heavy rotation due to the insane depth for RBL on the right.
7Christian GünterSCFVs VFB11.9MGünter's set-pieces might make him a winning pick when one of the best set-piece attacking teams takes on one of the worst set-piece defending ones.
8Borna SosaVFB@SCF4.7MA disappointing outing last time out but the return of Wamangituka and Gonzalez should improve the team and Sosa's returns.
9Felix AguSVW@BSC4.3MAgu has full attacking freedom despite being a rookie and plays Hertha who haven't scored in the last three games.
10Maximilian MittelstädtBSCVs SVW8.3MThis game could go either way but a 0-0 seems like a more likely result than not.

Goalkeepers

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Stefan OrtegaDSCVs SGE6.5MAn outside chance for a cleansheet but plays one of the more attacking teams in the league. So he will have saves atleast.
2Florian MüllerSCFVs VFB3.8M
3Gregor KobelVFB@SCF5.2M
4Rafał GikiewiczFCAVs FCU7.7MA worthy option for the long term but his price could get you two keepers instead of one on unlimited transfers.
5Andreas LutheFCU@FCA5.3MThe best chance for a clean sheet this week amongst keepers on this list.

Bundesliga Fantasy Player Rankings: Matchday 16

The previous week in Bundesliga Fantasy had its fair share of surprising results last week with Schalke finally ending their winless streak against Hoffenheim, Arminia fighting tooth and nail to beat Hertha and Borussia stealing 3 points from table-toppers Bayern Munich. These are our Bundesliga Fantasy Player Rankings for the week:

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Robert LewandowskiFCBVs SCF22.5MBayern have lost their last two games in 2021 which is the same amount of games they lost in 2020 and Freiburg have won their last five games but we have seen Bayern snap two unbeaten streaks before and Lewandowski scored a brace in each of them against Wolfsburg and Leverkusen. He is now on a five game scoring run of his own.
2Erling Braut HaalandBVBVs M0519.1M
3Andre SilvaSGEVs S0417.2MSchalke might've kept a cleansheet last week in a convincing victory against TSG but I need to see more of that to be convinced that they are even remotely good. Schalke have conceded the most penalty goals this season whereas Silva has scored the most from the spot and his individual fixture at the end of the week makes him the perfect third forward.
4Nicolás GonzálezVFBVs BMG9.6MThis game has all the elements to be a high-scoring game and González is my choice for a forward in this game. He is one yellow card away from suspension.
5Matheus CunhaBSC@KOE14.5M
6Thomas MüllerFCBVs SCF20.1MThe second-highest scoring forward in the game is a early contender for a Bayern double up with games against Augsburg and Schalke coming up next.
7Patrick SchickB04@FCU14.9M
8Marco ReusBVBVs M0517.6MReus seems to have found some of his old mojo back in the last few games setting up other attackers.
9Ermedin DemirovićSCF@FCB7.3M
10Andrej KramarićTSGVs DSC15.8MIt is a waiting game now for when he gets into form next.

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Jonas HofmannBMG@VFB13.2MHofmann is as essential as Lewandowski and Angeliño are this season and he already has scores of 24 and 18 since his return.
2Filip KostićSGEVs S0415.9MIf we are talking about scores then Kostic has 11, 11 and 12 points his last three games without a goal or an assist. Any return against Schalke would be most welcome.
3Jadon SanchoBVBVs M0519.3MHe is well and truly reborn under Terzic and is hard to overlook with double digit scores in each of his last four games.
4Vincenzo GrifoSCFVs KOE13.9MIt would be questionable to recommend a Freiburg player against Bayern on any other day but this is the worst FCB defense we have seen in a long time.
5Lars StindlBMG@VFB14.6M
6Leroy SanéFCBVs SCF17.9MIt is 50/50 between him and Kimmich but he is starting to gain some form and plays in a more advanced position.
7Ritsu DōanDSC@TSG8.8M
8Nadiem AmiriB04@FCU13.6MHe might be the only midfielder worth considering from the early kick-off with Wirtz being a doubt against Union Berlin - A team that is vulnerable to set-pieces.
9Dani OlmoRBL@WOB16.1M
10Mateo KlimowiczVFBVs BMG1.9M

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Raphaël GuerreiroBVBVs M0516MGuerreiro could cash in from a possible drubbing here.
2AngeliñoRBL@WOB16.1M
3Erik DurmSGEVs S043.6MHis 17 pointer last week was unexpected but if he keeps taking shots freely and gains bonus points consistently then he could be a good budget option for the long term. Especially with Frankfurt getting their defensive act back together.
4Maximilian MittelstädtBSC@KOE8.2MKoln have now gone four Bundesliga games without scoring and Mittelstädt could possibly fill in for Cunha on the left-wing rather than play as a left-back.
5Ludwig AugustinssonSVWVs FCA9.6M
6Christopher TrimmelFCUVs B0410.6M
7Borna SosaVFBVs BMG4.5M
8Christian GünterSCFVs FCB11.9MHis range for this game is anywhere from -5 to 15 points. Depends on Bayern's performance and you would rather use a transfer elsewhere.

Forwards

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Robert LewandowskiFCB@BMG22.3MLewandowski has a brace in each of his last three games now and you might not have to look too far to get your star forward right since he plays first this week.
2Erling Braut HaalandBVB@RBL18.7MAn away game against the best defense in the league isn't ideal but Haaland scored a brace in the same fixture last season which indicates his possible ceiling.
3Andrej KramarićTSGVs S0415.7MIf you wanted a summary of how bad Schalke have been - They are one game away from equaling the all time Bundesliga winless record of 31 games. I expect Kramaric to do better against the worst team that the league might've ever seen than Cunha at least.
4Andre SilvaSGE@M0516.8MFrankfurt's two wins in a row after going winless for nine games is a vital sign but the same can't be said for Mainz who haven't won since MD8.
5Matheus CunhaBSC@DSC14.6M
6Leon BaileyB04Vs SVW13.2M
7Kingsley ComanFCB@BMG14.6M
8Nicolás GonzálezVFB@FCA9.2M
9Taiwo AwoniyiFCUVs WOB7.3MAwoniyi has been on a roll and could be the difference maker for Union again in this game.
10Wout WeghorstWOB@FCU17.2M

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Joshua KimmichFCB@BMG17MBayern have scored an average of 4.17 goals this season in the league when Kimmich has started compared to 2.14 without him. Kimmich has scored/assisted in five out of six games he has started this season.
2Filip KostićSGE@M0515.7MKostić has scored 11 and 12 points in his last two games without scoring or assisting. Just needs to find himself on the end of a goal.
3Vincenzo GrifoSCFVs KOE13.9MGrifo has been one of the best players in the Bundesliga this season with seven goals and four assists in just 14 games but be wary of Koln's defensive away tactics. They haven't conceded more than one goal away (best away record this season) and teams such as Leipzig, Dortmund, Stuttgart have fallen prey to it.
4Nadiem AmiriB04Vs SVW13.6M
5Christoph BaumgartnerTSGVs S0411.3MHe has been out of form lately but back-to-back games against Schalke and Arminia is the perfect opportunity to turn it around.
6Jadon SanchoBVB@RBL18.9MSancho almost had a perfect game against Wolfsburg last week with a goal and an assist and Terzić's gift of all corner kicks should definitely go a long way in helping him gain some of his past season form back.
7Ritsu DōanDSCVs BSC8.5MThere aren't many options for Sunday games but Doan is worth a shout with Caligiuri, Coulibaly and Darida also worth considering.
8Dani OlmoRBLVs BVB15.8M
9Jonas HofmannBMGVs FCB12.8MHofmann showed us glimpses of his start of the season form which made him essential and the positive is that he is playing more like a winger now than a central midfielder.
10Daniel CaligiuriFCAVs VFB11M

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1AngeliñoRBLVs BVB16.2MThe biggest goal threat amongst all defenders.
2Raphaël GuerreiroBVB@RBL15.9MNot as much of a goal threat as the guy above but still got potential to get a good score in this game.
3Christian GünterSCFVs KOE11.9MFC Köln have failed to scored in three consecutive Bundesliga games now (305 minutes).
4Christopher TrimmelFCUVs WOB10.7M
5Alphonso DaviesFCB@BMG14.3M
6Ryan SessegnonTSG@S049MWhat is common between Schalke and Hoffenheim? Both the teams are yet to keep a clean sheet this season. Sessegnon is an exception amongst TSG defenders because of his attacking potential. Punt-worthy for the next two weeks.
7Borna SosaVFB@FCA4.3M
8Lars BenderB04Vs SVW9.9M
9IagoFCAVs VFB5.1MStuttgart's failure to score in their last two games makes Augsburg an outside pick for a cleansheet for me.

1Stefan OrtegaDSCVs BSC5.7MA bit unfortunate that Rønnow lost his place despite doing well but Ortega should suffice as your #1 for the rest of the season.
2Gregor KobelVFB@FCA5.6MAn incredible 17 points against Leipzig and he isn't a bad alternative to Rønnow.
3Rafał GikiewiczFCAVs VFB7.7M
4Robin ZentnerM05Vs SGE4.7MThe joy around the arrival of a new 1M keeper in Finn Dahmen was short lived as Zentner is back to takeover the keeping responsibilities again.

Bundesliga Fantasy Player Rankings: Matchday 14

A resilient Bayern Munich side on the back of wins against two unbeaten teams in a row is our favourite fantasy play for the week as they take on Mainz at home which could result in goals and points aplenty. These are our Bundesliga Fantasy player rankings for matchday 14:

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Robert LewandowskiFCBVs M0521.8MA home game against the second worst defense in the league in Mainz has the potential to be a game like Bayern 8-0 Schalke. At the very least you could expect some goals.
2Erling Braut HaalandBVBVs WOB18.6M
3Matheus CunhaBSCVs S0414.4MStruggling with form? Conflict with the manager? I think I can overlook that for a week since he plays Schalke.
4Kingsley ComanFCBVs M0514.7MDouble-trouble against troubled Mainz? Could work if you expect this to be high scoring (Bayern have scored six goals in each of their last two home games against Mainz). Coman is a doubt for the game however.
5Leon BaileyB04@SGE13.1M
6Andre SilvaSGEVs B0416.5MThe departure of Bas Dost to Belgium means that Silva is the undisputed striker for Frankfurt now and rightly so for his nine goals and two assists which puts him just behind Lewandowski and Haaland in the goal scoring charts.
7Andrej KramarićTSGVs SCF15.6M
8Wout WeghorstWOB@BVB17.1MBorussia Dortmund seem to have forgotten how to defend set-pieces and teams have exploited that vulnerability very well recently. The towering Weghorst is definitely going to send them into a frenzy every time he gets ready to head the ball.
9Yussuf PoulsenRBL@VFB12MStuttgart are tied for the second most set-piece goals conceded along with Dormtund (six) after Schalke (9) so here is another target man worth considering.
10Alassane PléaBMG@DSC15.9M

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Lars StindlBMG@DSC14MYet to be seen how the returning Hofmann affects his production but I will still prefer Stindl due to the fact that Hofmann was almost playing as a defensive midfielder-center back hybrid before getting injured.
2Joshua KimmichFCBVs M0516.6MHe is a breath of fresh air in a team that was losing some steam and he will look to add to his tally of one goal and five assists in seven games this season against Mainz.
3Vincenzo GrifoSCF@TSG13.7M
4Nadiem AmiriB04@SGE13.3MNo, nothing is wrong with having Wirtz but Amiri's recent performances and set-piece responsibilities give him the edge for me.
5Daniel CaligiuriFCA@KOE10.9MKoln have conceded the most goals at home in the Bundesliga (yes, Schalke finally beat someone) and Caligiuri could be an interesting differential.
6Giovanni ReynaBVBVs WOB8.7M
7Christoph BaumgartnerTSGVs SCF11.3MOne to watch out for since he plays the team that has conceded the third most shots and most shots one after the other (Freiburg and Schalke).

Defenders

1AngeliñoRBL@VFB15.8M
2Raphaël GuerreiroBVBVs WOB15.7MGuerreiro's assist against Union in the last matchday maintains his 100% record of being involved in a goal as a left-back in every game in the Bundesliga this season (one goal and five assists in four games).
3Alphonso DaviesFCBVs M0514.4MMainz have failed to score in their last three games and scoring against Bayern seems like a herculean task even though FCB has been going through defensive woes as of late.
4Maximilian MittelstädtBSCVs S048MHertha is far away from being even half-decent defensively but a game against the worst attack + worst set-piece defending team might be a good time to own Mittelstädt if you like the prospect of a potential clean sheet and attacking bonus/returns.
5Christopher TrimmelFCU@SVW10.6MI'd rather have Trimmel over Freidrich on any given day but you must keep in mind that Trimmel is one yellow card away from suspension.
6Christian GünterSCF@TSG12M
7Ludwig AugustinssonSVWVs FCU9.7M
8Kevin MbabuWOB@BVB10.5M
9Stefan LainerBMG@DSC10.2MNot too keen on a Borussia defender but they are a decent shout for a clean sheet this week.

1Frederik RønnowS04@BSC1.7MRonnow coming back is a great way to start the new year. No keeper worries anymore.
2Stefan OrtegaDSCVs BMG5.6M
3Rafał GikiewiczFCA@KOE7.5M
4Andreas LutheFCU@SVW4.8M
5Gregor KobelVFBVs RBL5.2MThere is always the possibility that Leipzig will run through their opponents by scoring multiple goals but the sleeping giant is dormant right now and save points are on the menu.
