1Robert LewandowskiFCBvs KOE17.3MIt is not often that you will see Lewandowski shoot 6 times but score just once. Even less likely when you consider his record against FC Köln (15 games - 14 goals and 2 assists).
2Erling HaalandBVB@SCF16.4MHaaland is the most in-form player in the league currently with 5 goals and 2 assists in his last 2 games and while it might've seemed like easy sailing for Freiburg last week against one of the worst attacks in the league, it is worth noting that Freiburg were second for most shots conceded after Schalke last season so I expect him to continue his goal-scoring streak here.
3André SilvaRBLvs VFB15MAfter an embarrassing loss against Mainz who were missing 11 first team players, Leipzig might as well take out some of their frustrations against Stuttgart's B team in the first game of the matchday.
4Wout WeghorstWOB@BSC14.4MOne match was all it took to bring the Hertha hype train to a halt and if it wasn't for Riemann coming up with his best Ortega impression then Weghorst could've easily had a hattrick.
5Andrej KramarićTSGvs FCU14.4MHe did a bit of everything in the last game but this might not be the same kind of ceiling game for him as Union Berlin is a much tougher opponent.
6Serge GnabryFCBvs KOE14MGnabry might be out of form but this feels like the game where he could change it around against FC Köln's weak fullbacks. He scored two goals in the same fixture last season in a 5-1 win.
7Marco ReusBVB@SCF13.4MReus has been in great form ever since the end of last season and it shouldn't be overlooked. He has now scored in each of his last four Bundesliga games.
8Rafael Santos BorréSGEvs FCA7.1MThere is a lot of uncertainty surrounding him but a home game against Augsburg is one of the best fixtures there is and it makes him a solid differential option. Expecting Frankfurt to bounce back here.
9Bryan LasmeDSC@SGF6.1MIt would be wrong to not mention a striker against Fürth after their abysmal performance where they conceded 32 shots and Lasme was Arminia's most impressive player in pre-season with 3 goals and an assist.
10Taiwo AwoniyiFCU@TSG7MOne could argue that Kruse is better since he is on penalties but Awoniyi is in much better form and even scored 2 goals in the Europa Conference League.

Midfielders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Joshua KimmichFCBvs KOE15.3MKimmich is a defensive midfielder but he is the primary playmaker for the team (12 points, 5 key passes vs BMG) and is pushing his case as a must-have player with individual fixtures against FC Köln and Hertha in the next two weeks.
2Dominik SzoboszlaiRBLvs VFB11M
3Filip KostićSGEvs FCA14MFrankfurt have had a horrible start to life under Glasner but Kostić still remains one of the best options for this week and boasts an impressive record against Augsburg with 2 goals and 3 assists in his last 3 games against them.
4Christopher NkunkuRBLvs VFB14MOne last dance before Szoboszlai's grand entrance and a trip to Wolfsburg? That is unless he puts in a big shift today.
5Lars StindlBMG@B0413.2MAdi Hütter is the only new Bundesliga manager under whom it seemed like the team didn't take 2 steps backwards on MD1 and with a fully fit attack surrounding him, it could be a big game for Stindl who scored 2 goals in a 4-3 loss in the same fixture last season.
6Christoph BaumgartnerTSGvs FCU11M
7Daichi KamadaSGEvs FCA11M
8Masaya OkugawaDSC@SGF6MOkugawa looked like the only player who came close to scoring last week so perhaps it might be worth betting on him finding the back of the net this week.
9Giovanni ReynaBVB@SCF12.2MThe best Dortmund midfielder to select from but not sure he is worth the price tag as a #8.
10Ridle BakuWOB@BSC11.1M
11Lee Jae-SungM05@BOC6MOOP as a striker and at just 6M against a newly promoted side. What is not to love?

Defenders

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Josip StanišićFCBvs KOE3.2MStanišić had 11 points, 3 shots and 2 key passes last week and if maintains that upside against an even more vulnerable FC Köln side then he could be the best bargain in the game. Also, keep an eye out for Davies who has been playing like he did in the 19/20 season.
2Aarón MartínM05@BOC3.2MBochum's attack was far from convincing even despite the fact that they were a man down and Martín has some attacking threat from his corners to go along with his clean sheet potential.
3Mohamed SimakanRBLvs VFB9.3MHe is no Angeliño but Simakan led the team in shots and duels won last week and got 12 points without a single return.
4Jérôme RoussillonWOB@BSC7.3MVan Bommel went back to Wolfsburg's best XI last week so I trust him (a little bit).
5Borna SosaVFB@RBL11MI was wrong to doubt Sosa's magic left-foot last week and while a large haul is out of bounds for this game, he could still get an assist of two as RB Leipzig are still learning how to defend set-pieces.
6Jacob LaursenDSC@SGF4.1MHis attacking potential has always been limited due to Arminia's defensive mindset but this is the one game that I hope the manager lets him loose like he did in the DFB Pokal game where he scored a goal and assisted 2.
7Stefan LainerBMG@B049.9M
8Erik DurmSGEvs FCA7.9MDo you remember this World Cup winner? I don't have faith in the Frankfurt defence but even less in the Augsburg attack.
9Jeremie FrimpongB04vs BMG7.2MI've not seen many mentions of it but Leverkusen's fullbacks have been a lot more attacking under Seoane and Frimpong even got an assist and 11 points to his name in the last game.
10Nico SchulzBVB@SCF5.9MCan't wait for Guerreiro to be back *sigh*

Goalkeepers

RankNameTeamOpponentValueComments
1Stefan OrtegaDSC@SGF8.3MOrtega proved it last week that he isn't a one-season wonder as he single-handedly won Arminia the game against Freiburg last week. He might be expensive but he is still worth it.
2Florian MüllerVFB@RBL8MI was more disappointed in Fürth than Müller because of their inability to spam shots against Stuttgart's B team but I am hoping that Leipzig will turn it around.
3Manuel RiemannBOCvs M055.4MThe highest-scoring keeper last week with a massive 17 points, Riemann might actually be Ortega 2.0.
4Robin ZentnerM05@BOC6.2M
5Mark FlekkenSCFvs BVB6.2M
